"The papaya salad at this restaurant is sometimes spicy, sometimes not. The Pad ke mao was disappointing as the shrimp was overcooked. This used to be my favorite Thai restaurant in the city, but the staff's behavior was unacceptable. When I mentioned that my fiancé was in the hospital and I needed to leave urgently, they were unhelpful and delayed my departure despite knowing the emergency situation. They even had trouble processing my payment and argued with me when I tried to explain the urgency of the situation. This experience was traumatic and I will not be returning to this restaurant. I will also be informing all my friends about the lack of empathy and moral principles displayed by...

The Pad Thai was too dry! The noodles were clumped together so tightly that I ended up breaking my chopsticks while trying to separate them. The tea was decent and the chicken satay was tasty, as well as the Po pai koog.

Ive eaten here both at home and the restaurant and let me say I cant tell the difference in quality and taste! I am always so pleased when I taste the food and it genuinely leaves you happy because they really do put there foot in the food. If youve hesitated youre wasting your own time. Cant wait to eat here in the near future : .

This is the best Thai restaurant I have found since moving to the area. The chicken satay was cooked perfectly and had a delicious charred flavor. The peanut sauce had a gradual build of flavor with a mild heat, making it the best I have ever tried. The tofu pad Thai was cooked perfectly, and we added some chicken satay (dipped in peanut sauce) to enhance the dish. Make sure to have some lime on hand or order extra, as it adds the perfect touch with its citrusy flavor.

"We were there celebrating two birthdays. Our server Faith was wonderful. She was attentive without being intrusive and knowledgeable about the menu. We were a table of 6 and ordered quite a bit of food, some of which was great and others lackluster. The bao buns were great and the small calamari salad was huge and those who had it said delicious. The spareribs were good as well as the edamame dumplings, although the way those were served made it hard to fully enjoy. Each dumpling should be on a individual type spoon so you can enjoy the soup part as well as the dumpling. The way they were served in one large bowl with only one spoon made it so the soup part is left at the bottom. I did request extra spoons from the expediter but they never came. The worst part of our appetizer course was somehow an item was switched to another in the computer and served to us. It had shellfish in it and that wasn’t known when someone at our table who doesn’t eat shellfish ate it. The sashimi was good but the tuna tartare thing was really bad. The entrees we had were the duck, which I was told was delicious, the miso cod, which was fishy, the whole fish which was tasteless, the lobster fried rice, which was okay but lacking flavor. The best dish was the black pepper beef, it was delicious and elegantly served. We had all the sides and all were quite good especially the eggplant and the wasabi mashed potatoes. It was a nice evening but it felt a little stale for a Starr restaurant."
