"Horrible customer service, especially since it's advertised as a late night option. I just flew into Louisiana and hadn't had supper. The sign says “open until 2am Mon-Sat” but I was denied service by an employee who said he was on his break and still had 20 minutes left so he couldn't take my order."

Ordered a 5 piece fry season tender just the tenders and a Bistro Buford just the burger and literally got 4 tenders and a Big Buford instead?? Horrible

"I had heard the place had delicious food, so we made the special trip to go there. For me, the food was just ok. I had lasagna and it was delicious, just no much meat. After paying $13, I thought I would walk away fulfilled without feeling hungry still. The portion was just about 25% less than I needed to feel like the meal was a good deal and worth it."

"Great little place. Very tasty food and big portions. Very well prepared. Very nice staff, very friendly. Quick service. Love the menu and will definitely be going back to try more of the dishes on it. I highly recommend this tasty little place."

"Perfectly Cooked Seafood. We have been eating at Richard's for years and have not once gotten an order that wasn't cooked to perfection. The fried seafood is always fresh and never over fried. If you like fried oysters you have to try their amazing bacon-wrapped Angel Oysters appetizer. You get six big oysters in an order and there are times when I just order those and a baked potato for dinner. The Large Fish Shrimp dinners are also very worth trying. I promise that you will be full when you walk out of there."

"Ate the regular buffet, not the seafood one. Although there was some seafood on the regular buffet. For instance, there was some sort of fried fish that I could not identify by taste. So I asked my waitress, and she said it was swai fish . I had never heard of swai before, so I looked it up. Swai is imported from Vietnamese fish farms and tastes a lot like mud cat (a trash fish frequently caught in a dirty ditch or muddy creek). Anyway, I can now say I tried swai and that it did not leave me with any ill effects that I know of. Nevertheless, I will never knowingly eat swai again. The waitstaff were all very friendly, the beer cold, and all in all, the regular buffet was alright especially the beef tips and rice."

"Really didn't see what the hype is with this restaurant. I did eat from the buffet so I can only speak on it. It was horrible. Itsy bitsy shrimp like what you buy in the frozen section. Gumbo tasted like vegetable beef soup in a can. Crabs were good.Maybe ordering off the menu is better. But I won't be back."
