"We were just here with a big group of 14 and I have to say, we had a pretty great time. I was in charge of picking a place and I had Chichimecas bookmarked but was a bit worried because of some of the extremely negative reviews, but our party wanted Mexican food and I just crossed my fingers and hope we would have a good experience. And we did! It took me four calls until someone picked up, but that was about the only bump we had. Making a reservation was easy and I was so happy they could accommodate our large group. I liked the actual setup of the restaurant more than the food itself. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. Tried the enchiladas and the tacos with both being average. Missing the flavors of salty and spicy I'd expect from a traditional Mexican restaurant. Better off going to CaraCara up the road for a better sit down restaurant or El Paso for a quicker bite to eat.

Came here for farmingdale restaurant week-cute little place in town! They had live music playing upstairs but it wasn't too loud that you couldn't hear yourself talk so that's a plus and our server was extremely friendly! The deal was great, $25 for appetizer, entree and dessert so I got the Chiquita quesadilla and my bf got the nachos with meat...the quesadillas were excellent, oozing with flavor while the nachos were just mediocre. For entrees we both got burritos-his was slightly over cooked but mine was perfect! I tried the wet burrito with shrimp cuz who doesn't want melted cheese on top?? We were so full we took the desserts home but I did sample a churro on the way and it was deliciou...

Work down the street from here and have overlooked the ever loving existence of it Bc it's just off the strip. Welp, trusty yelp helped me find what was right under my nose. Me and boo thang came to get some to-go. Of course you know I went for the wet burrito w/ shrimp (the burrito was already wet, I didn't even have to take my shirt off or anything lol). And she got a reg burrito with chicken, if I'm not mistaken. First impression was why am I payin 16bucks for a burrito.. but man oh man when I sunk my teeth into it.. it was well worth it... wet is appropriate.
