"I have lived in the Lehigh Valley for over 42 years and have tried many Oriental restaurants. Over the years, many have closed down. In the 80s, House of Chen on Hamilton Street was a popular spot for food and drinks. Recently, I started going to China Wok on 7th Street and I can say that this restaurant has exceptional service and food. There is a very polite and welcoming young lady at the front. I highly recommend this restaurant over any other in the Lehigh Valley. If you want your meal customized to your liking, this is the place to go. The flavors will blow you away and keep you coming back for more. They should be recognized for selling the best Asian food in the valley, as they have...

Sesam Huh was overly dry and the rice was clumpy. I am feeling very ill tonight after eating there. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

My coworker and I decided to have Chinese food for dinner and chose to try China Wok for the first time. We ordered sesame chicken and fried rice as separate dishes, one with pork and one with shrimp. The sesame chicken was dark brown in the middle, which was unusual and not something I had seen before when ordering sesame chicken from other places. The shrimp in the fried rice seemed to be spoiled. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I wouldn't recommend China Wok to anyone, not even my worst enemy. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

"Let me start by saying the only reason this place doesn't get a five star is because of the wait. In fairness my friend and I were there on valentines day so we had extreme patience with the servers. I had a reservation for 2 and when we arrived they tried to seat us at the bar (on Valentine's Day! . No bueno. We said we would wait for a table, that took about 15 minutes but it was well worth the wait. Once we were seated it took about 25 minutes or so for the waitress to come get our orders. We had prepared in advance and ordered all courses in that first round so that the food could just steadily come out. We had the ginger salad, the dressing was one of the best I have ever had. Next we shared the Sweet and Sour Soup, it was absolutely delicious, lots of flavors and textures and had a bite! Our appetizers were both sushi and we found them to be excellent and fresh. For Entree's I had the filet which I found to be one of the BEST I have ever had in my life. I brought some home and I was able to cut it with a plastic knife the next day after warming it up! My friend got the Tempura which was also delicious. The sauces were all spectacular as were the roasted vegetables. My only complaint was A. our reserved table wasn't ready and B. The time it took to get through the meal. While we enjoyed our evening it was a 2 hour and 15 minute meal. I feel like 1 hour and 45 minutes MAXIMUM for our courses would have felt more comfortable. Generally speaking we loved it and we will be going back again!"
