"Some of the best Chinese and Asian foods I still had in Utah. This restaurant is located in Chinatown and has a large menu for every taste. They have traditional Nordic dishes along with Americanized options. The prices are fair. We visited a late lunch and it was quite empty. There is plenty of room in the restaurant and it is traditionally ordered. The location is convenient near the Asian markets nearby. Our waitress was beautiful, really one of the kindest waitress I had in years. Our food came out quickly, but our head came out before our appetizers. We had pig and pine bones, Siu mai and Shanghai dumplings as apps. The Shanghai dumplings were the best, they were perfect and juicy. Chi...

Less expensive than most Chinese restaurants in other places, but quite delicious! My favorite is actually the bean. I recommend at least medium-heavy anger for the grilled fish, as mild is too subtle.

It was 8:40 and we asked if they were still seats. You said yes and greeted us. Service was excellent. Let the food die! Authentic and huge portions! We couldn't even eat half our food, so many remains! Thanks for being incredible!

very authentic Nordic Chinese cuisine. I have eaten in many Chinese restaurants and the Chinese taste is by far my favorite as it meets the place! Our server was great, she was friendly and attentive! The food came very fast and everyone came almost at the same time (as Chinese food should be) with the exception of the xiao long Bao, but usually takes the time to steam so that we were not disturbed by this. 5* and highly recit all to go to Chinese taste when they 're in Salt Lake City!

"I speak as a tourist. I was delighted this place has dedicated, on-the-menu options – as it is apparently open late, it would seem to be worth keeping in mind for that reason. This, and the empanada's great value, lead me to give it three stars. That said, there were some oddities. I got the vegan arepa and the vegan empanada. They were both filled with *exactly the same ingredients* and the empanada was bigger than the arepa – but the arepa costs more than 2x as much. Given these circumstances, and the fact that I liked the empanada more, I can see the empanada being a great deal for a vegan looking late night or for a bit of variety. Both of them were on the bland side, however, and far from imaginative. I did enjoy the plantains in both; otherwise, it was mainly black beans and some avocado. (From the menu, it appears that their several vegan items seem mainly to be rearranging these same ingredients. The small amount of chimichurri I was given added some flavor and was ok, but did not knock my socks off. None of it was bad, and I do think they made at least the arepa fresh with decent ingredients, but there just wasn't much flavor. Finally, they use big styrofoam packaging for to-go, which is actually enough to mean I would avoid eating here again. (Not being a local, I don't know how common this is, but I know it's not even nominally recyclable in SLC and that not all places do it. Updated from previous review on 2021-09-05"
