"My wife and I have made coming here a regularly for some time now and have really enjoyed it overall, but if this would have been our first visit, it would have been our last and still may be. We arrived around 7:30 and didn’t seem to be busy considering it was Memorial Day. I ordered a Southwest Chicken Wrap like I normally do because they have always been very good, but not so much this time. The chicken was barely warm and everything else was cold inside. Supposed to be a hot wrap with the cheese melted, but the total opposite this time. My wife always gets the salad bar added with her meal her favorite . This time there was multiple items completely empty on the bar and was very dirty and messy. There was plenty of staff there working also and was walking by it quite often, but not one that seemed to look or even care about refilling the empty items or at least cleaning it and there was still over two hours left before closing. Lastly was the noise level. Not from the customers there, but from the staff themselves behind the salad bar area, I guess the service area, where the servers all gather. Very and extremely loud. Yelling, laughing, clapping. I’m guessing mostly young kids working that night with no kind of management on duty to keep them focused on what they were there for and the customer is who suffers for the lack of management and lack of responsibility and caring of workers, in any field. Needless to say, I don’t think that this place will be on our list of options to choose from when we go out to eat next time."

"Smitty’s has better seafood than I found at the beach!!!!! And I grew up on the coast of Virginia. If they can’t find the best and freshest they prefer to take it off of the menu temporarily. Carli, Johnna, Lane, Madison, Emily, Alyssa and the rest of the serving staff are some of the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of tipping! AND they don’t cheat you on a good drink either. The cooks are amazing! Have you seen the miraculous food that comes out of that tiny kitchen? The only downside is the people standing behind you waiting for an open spot!! The STAFF NEVER makes you feel like you need to hurry and leave so they can turn your seat!!!!!! It’s the rude people waiting making comments that can leave you feeling rushed. Smitty maybe you can consider a way to have waiting patrons wait while not breathing down our necks!! An app or other method of notification that keeps them at least 6 feet away while I’m enjoying a meal would be appreciated by both eating and waiting customers. This isn’t a bar this is a fantastic fine eating establishment that is in the shape of a bar."

"Our server Ariana was great but unfortunately our food took forever. We waited almost an hour for our food and when we did get them it was not worth the price. Needless to say we left quite disappointed and will not ever return again. This was our second time going trying to give it a chance but not worth it at all. Sorry ! Also we were there for an Easter brunch and I thought the menu was very short not much of a variety for an Easter brunch."

"We have always enjoyed everything we've ordered, but this order was even better than usual. My husband had the bbq plate and I had the chicken fried chicken. At the same time we both commented on how delicious it was. My chicken was breaded perfectly and was so juicy and tender. The baked beans were really good, also. The bbq and Mac and cheese were very good, too. I highly recommend eating here."

"This place is exceptionally awesome! Their menu items are definitely authentic Italian and not just American Italian food. Not saying that that 's bad but when you want real Italian food this is the place to go. The bread rolls that they serve for free before your meal are the best rolls I 've ever had in my life. Considering I never eat any free bread rolls at any restaurants because I 'm not a fan of that. But here, they are amazing. Better than the red lobsters biscuits they serve, which is the only other place I eat bread that they serve at a restaurant before you get your meal. I ordered the sea scallop risotto which has lump crab meat as well, superb! The second time I went I had veal marsala served with angel hair pasta which was excellent as well! I will definitely be back and I will take photos next time before I chow down. I didn 't take photos this time. Usually I do take photos but I was so excited and ready to eat the food because it is so good that I forgot to! If I could rate this restaurant six stars I would! I already know what I 'm going to get next time, the spaghetti carbonara it contains sauteed ham and pancetta tossed in spaghetti and carbonara sauce. Sounds amazing! Can 't wait to go back! Service is great as well! Haven 't had any issues in the two times that Ive went. Pricing for the food is where it should be at but is not low range but also is not high range it 's right in the middle. Expect to spend $50 for two people if not a little more or a little less depending if you get an appetizer and anything to drink other than water."
