"The Country Café has a real chef that knows how to make really good food. Every time I went I got the French toast with mixed berries and cream. He makes the best cream I have ever had. Not too sweet and wonderfully flavorful. The mixed berries were super good and real, not jam or some other over sweet sauce. It's the one thing I really miss from our visit as I know I can't get that food anywhere else."

The breakfast food was fantastic! The pancakes are huge and SO good! Can't say enough about the biscuits and gravy! We went twice on our four day visit to Fairbanks.

A couple runny eggs, sourdough bread and reindeer sausage that's some good eatin' that brings out my inner Alaskan. However, my inner Alaskan doesn't like cold weather, so, sadly, I'll only be stopping at the Country Cafe on vacations between May and September.
