With an ideal location, a creative menu and a helpful staff, Creekside Grill quickly became a favorite. Lori and I very much appreciate the dedication and contributions that our talented team shared with us over the years. Only had the soup and salad because not much appealed to us on the lunch menu. The soup Clam chowder and tomato basil were mediocre as was the Caesar salad which wasn't the greatest! Our one waitress was very nice! The view is outstanding over the creek although they really need to rearrange the furniture to accommodate more seating for creek view's!

We visited during a rare quiet time at the Creekside Grill, so we had the back room with its view of Silver River all to ourselves. It was a late lunch/early dinner situation so we each ordered tacos. My companion loved the chicken tacos (three small ones) served with deep fried tortilla chips and salsa. I ordered a fish tacos sautéed, which also came with tortilla chips and a small cup of salsa. Paid a bit extra for a side of cup of tomato soup and it was the perfect amount for a light meal. After strenuous hike, we could not resist the chocolate brule and the fluffy pumpkin dessert with real whipped cream. This restaurant surprised me...in a good way. One of my favorite local spots was holding a private party and my friends and I found ourselves searching for a new spot for dinner and drinks. Creekside Grill did not disappoint. It 's interestingly located in the basement of what I believe is an historic building near downtown Silverton. For those of you who know Salem, OR think much smaller version of the Reed Opera House...but with a basement. I 'll admit I was confused by their menu at first. It seems to be all over the place with types of dishes, think rib joint that also sells gelato But after I got my food I was turned around. I still don 't know what they specialize in but whatever it is...
