"The Grilled Brie with Apple Fig Jam is a sophisticated twist on grilled cheese and absolutely delicious! We also enjoyed the flavorful Italian Chopped salad. "Pretty good but not that impressive. If you've ever been to Sherman's in the desert or Canter's in LA, Benji's does not compare. They all charge about the same for double decker pastrami and corned beef sandwiches $18.95), but their potato salad wasn't nearly as tasty as the other two. Quality in the meat was good but it wasn't great. v In their favor I will say that my wife had a beef brisket dinner and the meat was exceptionally savory and tender. The cheesecake was very good and light, but they only had one kind and no real toppings. You'll love the mid-50s tuck and roll booth decor decor and they've got a nice colorful old style bar as well. If you got to have pastrami, I'd recommend the Hat in any of its various locations."

"My wife and I were there for a celebration of life for a friend, they had a buffet dinner with a salad, dinner rolls, real mashed red skin potatoes, pasta salad, fresh mixed vegetables, tri tip with a homemade made from scratch red wine reduction sauce and chicken kabobs. I had the fresh real mashed red skin potatoes, they were hot and fresh, I had the fresh mixed vegetables which were also hot and had great taste to them, l finished my plate with the tri tip with the red wine reduction sauce which I also used as a grey for my potatoes, all fresh, hot and great flavors. I would recommend this for anyone."

"Pie hole has perfected cake recipes, each cake is exactly as you expect that taste should taste. Favourites are Mexican hot chocolate, lonely pee, Thai tea, and currently Key Lime. Somehow they are not too sweet and nothing artificially flavored is discovered. Each thing is fresh, served with a smile and genuine customer service. I'll say this is the best place in Orange County. It's up there with the house of the Pies in LA. And maybe we can put a pineapple cake on her menu. But don't just take one! Get many and let yourself be happy and full: it is worth it."
