"My sisters and I stayed here for breakfast on the way back to VT from a long weekend in Maine. Nice little place! The food was amazing. The coffee was so delicious that I asked and found that it was available at a small shop on the street, so that we went shopping after breakfast. He hopes to get back to Maine on another trip."

Fantastic little cafe. My first impression was small and clean...after leaving, I realized I was likely a customer for life. Owner is very nice, food was great, prices reasonable. Will be back many times, I'm sure. Nice to meet you, Kara.

"Just disappointed, extremely disappointed with a long time family favorite. I 'm in high hopes there is someone else working here with more knowledge about running a restaurant than the manager working on Saturday February 24th. My fiancé and I had ordered takeout dinner. Haddock Nuggets with fries , Lobster stew and Gorgonzola steak tip salad. Upon opening our dinner when we got home, we first noticed there was 2 small cups , one being the lobster stew and the other , we had no idea. No salad dressing , nor an extra side of dressing as ordered OR a side of tartar sauce for the fried fish , in which we would obviously assume it would come along with. The mystery small cup contained WARM Gorgonzola chunks with dressing and a layer of butter? Or oil ? Layered on top. Terrible , whatever it was , it smelled and tasted awful. The lobster stew was basically lobster chucks/ pieces a fair amount soaking in that same hot buttery/oil. Our order looked very rushed and for almost $70 for two people , unacceptable. Taken back , as we 've both gone to Fogartys for many many years , my fiancé decided to call. The manager was put on the phone and was not very apologetic .. A simple oh I 'm sorry , we will send out a gift card . We ended up throwing everything away. About a week later we received the gift card .... $5.00. Five dollars ? It was honestly an insult. Being in the restaurant industry for over 15 years I 'm baffled, I understand the shortage on staff and maybe a busy Saturday night .... but I could never dismiss a loyal customer so easily."

"I had come here years ago and the food was bland and just overall not good. I had decided to give it another try and it continued to be consistently awful. The food wasn't seasoned well, it tasted like everything was straight out of a can. The pasta was undercooked and don't get me started on the fried artichoke hearts. It wasn't drained so even though it was fried, it was still soggy. The aftermath topped it all off when my bf had the glue himself to the toilet. 10/10 do NOT recommend this establishment. quite frankly, doesn't deserve a star."

"I saw crepes on the specials and was all in! Unfortunately they were as thick as the pancakes and sucked up all the sausage flavor! I peeled them off. They would've stuck to the wall for days if I'd thrown one up there. Blech! My friend got eggs Benedict and said the hollandaise was too thick and suffocated her eggs. Upside? Coffee was delicious, home fries were cooked perfectly and waitress was a peach! Wish the food was better."

"Got takeout tonight since we had a gift card and figured we?d give this place a second try finally because we didn?t have a good experience the first time. While I realize it?s take out we only live less than five minutes away. With that being said I am disappointed. We got fried pickles spinach and artichoke dip and boneless wings. The pickles breading are almost chewy and the chips that came with my artichoke dip were stale. Also we got a 17 dollar dozen of boneless wings almost half of them were burnt. I expected them to be better for being 17 dollars a dozen. Good thing we had a gift card."
