"First of all I must say I have enjoyed my meals at Rostica in the past. Unfortunately, since a few months, the quality in service and food has dropped tremendously.This pizzeria, situated in an old German building with classical architecture came down with the blown up ego of the owners. I personally dislike when I almost have to apologize that I want to eat at a place, when the hosts put their ego so much into the foreground that I feel unpleasant to co-exist in the same room as a customer.We have ordered two salads followed by two pizzas. One salad came, the other didn't. It took us ten to fifteen minutes to get the attention of the waiter, sitting next to the bar/kitchen where the waiter stayed all of the time. We eventually claimed the missing salad and a few minutes later we got the missing salad and the pizzas together. The pizza had room temperature when it arrived on the table. I would have expected them to put the pizza onto the oven and wait until the salad had been eaten.The pizza didn't have any taste at all, the salad was an uncharitable combination of tasteless vegetables with a lifeless dressing.I personally won't eat here anymore for a while. The owners obviously rest on their reputation from former times and don't make any effort to keep up the established standard. I hope times will have changed when I return here in some years."

"Location The Hotel Restaurant Graf Eberhard is located right at the spa centre/park near Albtherme. Parking spaces and a motorhome parking (for 26 Womos) are nearby. The restaurant is divided into several areas. Guests can enjoy the elegant hotel area. It offers space for approx. 150 people and in beautiful weather more in the beer garden. The tables are already covered. Gorgeous table ensemble with white tablecloths, light green thick napkins, flower decoration, cutlery and a small plate for greeting from the kitchen. Original large lamps hang on the ceiling, which resemble round glass yellow cow bells. Service Qualified service personnel attentive and reliable. Everyone had his job and was assigned to his area. Food bids will be a regional cuisine with vegetarian organic dishes from the biosphere area of Swabian Alb. At noon there was an Ermstal appetizer buffet and as the main course of Swabian specialties. But before, there was a greeting from the kitchen. Walnut bread and a lard pot. The lard was frozen and we asked for the reason. In response, we were informed that the WKD (economic control service) wants this. We didn't want it. A judgment was therefore not possible for us, because Schmalz frozen tastes quite neutral no matter what is in it. The Schwäbische Lunchbuffet for 12.50€ was a little bit more than we had expected. As the main course there was a veal roast with potato or semmelknödeln, with fennel vegetables or optionally a fish pan. The appetizer consisted, among others, of numerous salads, two kinds of pastets, olives, feta cheese, small pizzas, cheese-filled 1/2 Crousants and much more. Conclusion: Highly recommended. The urge of the older guests (Kurstadt) also showed us other very acceptable dishes."

"Wir waren als kleine Großfamilie (7 Erwachsene, zwei Kinder und ein Hund) in Bad Urach bei Familie Buck zu Gast und waren mehr als zufrieden. Wir wurden sehr freundlich aufgenommen und haben erfahren, dass das Familienunternehmen bereits in 5ter Generation geführt wird. Neben dem schönen Ausblick auf der Dachterrasse und dem spitzen Service ist vor allem das Essen eigentlich 6 Sterne wert. Neben den schwäbischen Classics hat die Karte eigentlich für jeden Esser das passende Gericht, was bei 9 Personen nicht immer einfach ist. Auch beim Frühstück ist an jeden gedacht und man wird top bedient. Mittags saßen wir draußen bei Kaffee und Kuchen (das Hotel hat einen eigenen Konditor) und haben das schöne Wetter genossen. Anschließend gab es noch Eis, dass die Bucks ebenfalls in der eigenen Eisdiele anbieten. Bad Urach ist ein sehr schöner, lebendiger Ort, der vor allem durch seine schönen Fachwerkhäuser und der Nähe zur Natur glänzt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder!"
