"The food was delicious! Definitely get some onion rings they're so good. We also tried the Huckleberry pie with ice cream which we promptly devoured. We ate here twice, the first time we had a young man as our server who was great. However, the second time we had a young woman who hardly checked in on us, took forever to even get our order (and it was late afternoon so no lunch or dinner rush . I asked for a side of onion rings with my salad (I know, don't judge me. Lol they're just so good! and she instead gave and charged us for a basket. I've seen other reviews saying it was pricey, but it was on par with our expectations and thought it was a good value, especially inside the park. Servi...

Beware purchasing an entry pass voucher and $30 credit for restaurant. The entry pass voucher is only good for the day it is purchased, you cannot choose a future date. This is NOT explained on the restaurants website! When I called to ask for a refund, they rudely refused. Service: 1

We were looking for a place that could accommodate our party of nine after a long hike when patience was short. The atmosphere was relaxing and we were all put at ease. The prices were good as was the food. We had no wait though we were worried as we had to wait everywhere else we went (especially parking). We were looking for a place that was locally owned as we did not want a contracted company to take the money and send out of the area they advertised heavily as locally and family owned which made the meal all the better. READ BEFORE YOU SIT DOWN! The gift shop was great! We've been camping for 2 weeks and wanted to eat out instead of campsite cooking and the restaurant was awful! The food was terrible and very overpriced. We were so disappointed with our dinner and even more when the $60+ bill for two people came. Our waiter never came back until he delivered the bill. I had to flag down a different waiter for assistance. The bathroom was also filthy! Luckily we found a hidden gem just outside the park and you will not be disappointed! Glacier Highland restaurant is where you want to be. So this is me saving you and your money and helping you enjoy your food. So get back in your car drive outside the park an...

"Stopped here last night out of desperation since everything else was closed, as a party of 4. The host was very polite, though somehow despite being the 2nd party in line and being told a 10 minute wait, it took nearly an hour to be seated and 3 other parties skipped ahead of us while there was a table open the entire time in the back corner, which we were eventually seated at. The host brought us water and menus, then nobody came back for 15 minutes. The server, Josh, asked if we wanted drinks which we all said we 're good with water, and then he left again for another 15 minutes- never asked if we were ready to order and never even offered to refill our 4oz water glasses. Finally came time to order and I can not have any sugars, fiber, or bread due to a health condition so I asked for 2 bison patties and 2 pieces of cheese, nothing else. I was told that I 'd have to purchase 2 entire meals for $39. After some haggling, we were able to double the burger and add bacon for a total of $31 and I 'd give my soup to another member of the party. Welp, I still got buns, tomato, mayo, lettuce and onions which I specifically requested not be on the plate AND there was no bacon. At this point I 'm fed up and starving so I just scraped everything off and ate the bison so I could leave and never see this place again. Then it came time to pay and I was denied an itemized receipt by Josh, but the host got me one and I was charged for bacon I never got and the soup was charged twice as well. And the card was already charged, so I couldn 't get the money back either. I spent half the night in the bathroom from this disaster, so yes I am bitter right now, but this place needs to get its act together. One of the worst restaurant experiences I 've ever had. Dietary restrictions: No accommodations whatsoever for my dietary restriction. Either buy 2 full meals and throw away 95% of them, or get nothing . "We stayed at the motel for 4 nights during the heat wave earlier this month, July 2024. I was initially concerned about the lack of air conditioning because we prefer our room to be cold, cold, cold, but once we opened the bathroom window and then put the box fan into the main room window and pumped the warm air to the outside, it cooled right down and it wasn't an issue. What a surprise! The room was recently updated but still needs some bathroom accessories (towel racks, hooks) and was otherwise clean and comfortable. There was a coffee maker and a mini fridge. The bed was very comfortable, and I consider myself a mattress snob. There was a stand-up shower (no tub) with nice shower stream with hot water. We also ate at the restaurant, twice for dinner and 4 times for breakfast. All of our meals were excellent with top-notch service. The huckleberry pie was an absolute delight! I would have given 5 stars, however, there was one glaring issue that I must address. We stayed in one of the rooms halfway up the hill, and there is a retaining wall that runs the length of the driveway to the rooms. Along the top of the retaining wall there were several short iron posts (I counted at least 5 of them) that were hammered into the ground, and each post had a steel-jaw leg trap set to catch ground squirrels. Throughout our stay, as we drove up and down the driveway, several of the traps had caught a squirrel with the poor little things screaming and dangling by their caught limbs, fully alive, suffering, and waiting for death. It was beyond horrific. We came to Montana to enjoy nature, the beautiful scenery, and the wildlife. I cannot imagine how a small child would have reacted upon seeing the squirrels in their anguish, flailing around helplessly, trying to free themselves of the trap. While I fully realize that ground squirrels can be a nuisance and destructive, there are better, more humane, ways of eradicating, or at least managing, their numbers. For every squirrel that we encountered caught in the traps, we were able to set them free."
