"I really wanted to love this new BBQ place in town. To be fair, the place is still very new and I’m sure it will take some time. The atmosphere was definitely friendly and the place really delivered, aesthetically. The food, however, was pretty lackluster. The brisket was fatty and the sides were in tiny little cups similar to the miniature Dixie cups used for water in someone’s bathroom. My husband and I got the Mac and cheese and potato salad and it had absolutely NO flavor whatsoever. The cornbread was very dry and flavorless as well. Illinois residents are fortunate to have a taste of Nashville right in the metro east. This BBQ spot is my top choice in Tennessee. The food and atmosphere are just like the original locations back home, right down to the music. I'm glad I decided to stop in.

The restaurant offers homemade potato chips that they call nachos. I can't understand why they would name that dish nachos, as it lacked any actual nachos. Additionally, the portion of pulled pork was disappointing, with only half a cup provided. It was much smaller compared to another nearby restaurant.
