"Food Very good, table service Very good. But the greeting was not welcome and can be improved. We had a good meal there. The food was very good. I had the onion soup that was good but not big (a little salty), My trout entree and the grilled pork dinner of my girlfriend were excellent. The house salad was also excellent with beautiful fresh ingredients. I tried to call several times a day to see if reservations were advisable and nobody answered the phone. They offer pick-up, but how can you order when nobody answers the phone? Even the hostess was not friendly and short when we arrived no welcoming mood. She talked to us more like employees than customers. There are also no places for people waiting for a table except at the bar. After we had set ourselves, our waitress was very friendly, helpful and efficient. The prices were reasonable. Given the quality of the food and service provided by our server, we will return. If I were the owner, I would work on the greetings that people get when they arrive and be sure someone answers the phone. Finally, this is the first impression of a cartridge."

"Good food, we got the truffle tots which were nice and salty like we love. Also got the fajita bowl and the shrimp teriyaki bowl, shrimp bowl was definitely the favorite taste-wise. Main complaint was that the protein portions were mid with the bowls. They were essentially $14 for some well seasoned rice n veggies. The donut portions were also a bit sad, $7 for exactly 6 donut holes and Hershey syrup. Lovely people with wonderful service, was just a bit pricey for not being full afterwards."

"The tuna app was a bit disappointing. For $24, i expected more than 4 tiny slices of tuna. The sauce tasted like straight soy sauce. It could be so much better. The bang shrimp was delicious. Mom liked her chili. She also got the Asian salad, but she didn't like the chunks of rotisserie chicken. I got the wedge salad and the bacon looked like mushed ham. We'll give it another try. I don't mind spending money, but for a $100 lunch for 3 adults i expect better."

"My husband and I dined at this restaurant on New Year's Eve in 2016 during their grand opening under new ownership and menu. We were part of a group of 14 people and had an amazing experience. The food and service at this establishment are the best in the Cashiers-Sapphire-Highlands-Lake Toxaway area. The restaurant is located in a converted house setting with two lovely fireplaces, but the ambiance could be improved by incorporating more of a mountain feel, as the off-white walls and modern eclectic wall art feel a bit flat and not very romantic. However, the food and service more than make up for it. Our group tried almost half of the menu and loved everything we ordered. My husband enjoyed the crab-citrus salad and pot roast, while I indulged in the Jerusalem artichoke-parsnip soup and lobster-shrimp risotto with crispy Brussel sprouts. For dessert, we shared the white chocolate moonshine creme brûlée, which was a perfect ending to a perfect meal. I highly recommend this restaurant, as Chef Johannes is truly a master of his craft. It's now my new favorite spot to dine!"
