"Good experience here. The hostess provided us with 3 detailed descriptions of the starters which made choosing easy. We ordered the chickpea panisse based off her suggestion (def wouldn't have otherwise due to unfamiliarity with the dish) and it is pictured below. The presentation was beautiful. Flavors were good and with the texture added by the grapes/olives, I did enjoy it. Flavor wise it wasn't my favorite (to be fair I've never had anything like it before) but I appreciate the complexity of the dish with all it's components. For the main dishes we had the French dip and shrimp gnocchi. Both were awesome. Gnocchi a little heavy but I don't know enough about gnocchi to know if this is no...

A-maz-ing. The food was excellent and the Macaroons at the end were heavenly. It's a bit expensive, but it's worth it for the food you get. Go on Tuesday for their market tasting menu at $29 for an appetizer, Entree and Dessert. Really funny experience!

Delicious! Great service. The Butternuss-Quark Bisque was exceptional. Much savory as the sweeter versions in many restaurants. Our main thing was the Hawaiian sunfish and the pig stable. Both are well prepared. Light sauces and garnishments spoiled meals.

The restaurant was very good. The pace of the meal was well lasted, so we don't feel rushed, but don't wait. Portions were small, but I didn't leave me hungry. My girlfriend had the fillet of beef, that was excellent. Very delicate and full of taste. I had the lobster. Unfortunately, my lobster came to the table completely submerged - actually the tail was in the middle raw. I sent him back immediately and the cook prepared a second lobster. At $55, for an eight ounces lobster dick, I would expect the cook to know that the serving of raw mussel is not acceptable. The Redone lobster dick came out better, but for me there seemed to be something undercooked. I'm not sure how to prepare lobsters...

"The food was good and well made. My problem is how the staff was being utilized. There was 7 employees all focused on making food and giving orders out, but none at the register or to take orders I waited for 20mins to just get my order taken and they weren't busy, but a line was created because no one was taking orders. I also waited another 15min at the register when the gentleman behind me orders more food and paid before me. I was there on a Tuesday around 10-11am. The staff wasn't being utilized well at all I don't think staffing was the issue because it looked like they were fully staffed. I think the issue was delegating job tasks as I wasn't the only one that had to wait a long time. Worst of it was that it looked like the managers/owners were there doing the books/ having a meeting when I was there and didn't notice this flaw. This was my first time, but I came with someone who said they were a regular and said it was common for this to happen. I would come back for the food, but not for the service. Update after reading further reviews about food times and order times and reading the response from the owner. I don't think I will be back. I have worked in several resturants, cafes and bars. Management meeting are best done before opening, near closing, or at a time when coverage is possible, or at a slow time of day based on revenue charts. I understand when a company has worked a way for over 50yrs things are classified as normal, but like I said in my original review this was my first time at this establishment and I saw the flaw and it will continue to be a problem in the future for customers, but like I said the food is good. I hope the owner is open to change to help the business run more effectively"
