"After a brutally long weekend of work we needed a good dinner. Having tried all the other Italian spots in the valley it was time for Nuova Italia. We'd not been back since it changed hands. The place is beautiful. An attentive server that hustled. I like the extensive wine list, with standard prices. The menu was long and well appointed. The Shrimp, Artichoke and pasta special was amazing. I had the Penne Al Capone, spectacular presentation at the table side and it tasted wonderful. The calamari appetizer was cooked perfectly. This was the dinner we wanted. And it was not over priced. I'd have to say, this is the best place in the Fox Valley for Italian. Can't wait to go back."

We were a party of 8 people and we all ordered a variety of entrees along with soup and salads and finished with desserts. Everything was excellent. The portions are generous and each entree was week prepared. Iryna was our server and she was attentive and got all the orders correct. This despite having many other tables to serve and working as bartender as well! She was amazing! I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Housed in a former church built in 1841 this elegant Italian restaurant makes a believer out of you. In Italian cusine that is. The interior is that of an Italian villa in Tuscany. Dark paneling and coffered ceilings are the theme, suggesting fine dining. And so it is. I had a classic rigatoni with sausage and it was divine. My wife had the chicken marsala and while delicious was most unusual. Instead of noodles it came with assorted vegetables. Carrots, string beans, potato wedges, cauliflower, and zucchini filled in for the customary pasta. The chicken had a different sauce but was mouth watering. Wine menu is extensive, service impeccable. Nice spot for a romantic evening.

"Excellent choice for that special dinner, and even better for the not so special ones. In fact, it will make those even more memorable. Very nice bar area, wonderful wine selection and hundreds of whiskeys to choose from. Niche does a great job of providing an upscale dining experience in a casual setting. Nothing is over the top, except the food. Service is timely and friendly. Appetizers were very nice, in using the Niche burger which almost makes a meal. The halibut and seared lamb entrees were perfect. Niche is centrally located, worth the walk if you're staying in town. You won't be sorry you tried it."

"We were a group of 6 celebrating birthdays. None of us had ever been to Wildwood before, and we had an amazing experience. The food was fantastic; everyone enjoyed their meals. The service was excellent, although our server was quite busy and the pace was a bit slow at times, she kept us informed about our order. Overall, we had no complaints. I will definitely be returning. Thank you, Wildwood, for a lovely celebration!"

"Very satisfied with our experience here. First, the service was good and you can tell all the staff are pros. Nick is such a sweetheart and truly loved what he was doing (and he said the owners treat him well which is always great to hear). The food was fantastic! Definitely a top steak house in our opinion. The filet was so incredibly tender, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked. Honestly, top 1 or 2 steaks I've ever had. The garlic mashed potatoes are so buttery and yummy! Drink menu had many great selections. We had the cherry amaretto cheesecake and it was a true, homemade from the heart, delicious cheesecake. Our new go-to steak house!"

"This is a small family run business. They have renovated a house and made it in to a restaurant. Love the small, family run feel. Have had several outstanding meals from here. The pasta this last time was amazing, just had lots of leftovers! Can't wait to go back."

"The tacos were unbeatable! I tried the Camote al Pastor (sweet potato sauteed with pineapple morita salsa, onion, cilantro, pepitas, vegan avocado crema and corn tortilla) and Esquites (roasted zucchini with poblano corn, vegan avocado crema, sweet potato crisps and corn tortilla), and both were equally delicious with a generous amount of toppings. The prices on the in-person menu were higher than the online menu, so an FYI. It's also a little hard to find; you have to go up the stairs on the side of the building (we went to the Mexican restaurant next door at first, confused). The outdoor patio is also adjacent to a parking lot, and the chair seating for the patio tables was oddly too high for the table, so the two of us sitting on the sofa seating were looking up at our friend sitting in the chair (it was a little awkward). The service was a bit off the evening we dined here, though. Our waitress was very nice but seemed a bit shy and VERY slow and a little sloppy despite there being just one other table dining when we were there."
