"The restaurant is a bit hidden amongst some residential buildings but this is a nice little gem in the neighborhood. The monkfish is not to be missed and quite delicious as are the beets three ways. Reasonable prices and two for one drinks for happy hour on a Friday make this a nice stop after work. Service was a bit slow on drinks even though it was early and they weren't super crowded, but happy hour can do that. The charm of the staff makes up for any of that. Give it a try. Look forward to winter and enjoying the fireplace."

We had to wait 1 hour to get our food. Then for Dessert there were only 2 choices on the menu: we ordered one, and it took them 15min to come back to us and say that this dessert was no longer available... in short, slow and bad service despite a beautiful atmosphere

there was a problem with our order. had to wait about 80 minutes until our orders arrive. we received a free round drinks w/out that asked for them or complained about what was a nice gesture. after the long waiting period was an order good, others were under the average. overall no good experience.

Food was ok. Pancakes were a bit charred, but the portions were nice. The ambiance of the space was an interesting retro/desert vintage which was interesting. Credit card machine wasn't working so us card-payers had to walk a block to an atm in a bodega. That felt a bit awkward considering I was on a date.
