"We stopped at this place on a Wednesday afternoon and sat immediately with a very nice host. The waiting staff was very attentive, and we never had problems when we need something. The plant itself was well furnished and clean. For the beer I have her Hazy IPA and it was okay. Not the best I had, but certainly not bad. I only have the one beer. For food we have 4 articles: The Cheese Curds There were amazing, I just want to return for them. How good. The Pretzel w/ Beer cheese That was very good, the beer cheese had great taste and the Brezel was well baked. The French Dip That was where the problems come, it was like $16 and it just didn't hit enough. It had almost more bread than meat. Th...

Great brewery with lots of barrel aged beers. As a beer lover, it was a must visit location on my trip. They have food options, plenty of seating, beers on draft or to-go, and merch to show your appreciation!

Good quality food and beer. Then tenders looked a little well done but were actually quite perfect. BBQ sauce and ranch also delicious. Hazey IPA was not bitter as described. Staff was friendly, dog was allowed outside, excellent selection of merch.

"We happened to stop here after the glowing reviews on Yelp, in a search for something to eat. I'll start off with what I really liked about this place the ambiance and the service. The restaurant is kind of a split level, where only the hostess is at the platform upon entry, then you take a few steps down into the bar area. If you go up from the hostess stand, there's a whole separate section just for dining. We got seated promptly and our server was very nice and knowledgeable. We ordered the tomato basil soup and the seasonal salad as an appetizer (The seasonal salad had peaches, almonds, goat cheese, and almonds on a bed of arugula. The tomato basil soup was good, but I wish it had a little more heartiness, depth, and flavor. The salad was perfect, good mix of sweet and savory. For our main course, I got the pasta Bolognese and my mom got the Ragu. My gripe with the pasta here is that they advertise the pasta as fresh made, but I felt like the pasta was a little overdone, soft, and tasteless. It lacked salt, so I added a heaping spoonful of parmesan to the already-shaved parmesan in the dish, (which is brought out as the powdered version, but would have had a nice touch if it was freshly shaved). The Ragu was nice, but the grilled polenta on it was very charred and just tasted burnt. Lastly, I asked for some bread to eat with the sauce and they charged for bread, which I felt was a little nickel and dime-y. We finished off with the tiramisu, which was just ok (it's usually my favorite dessert It had a heavy taste of just cream no real taste of espresso and/or the mascarpone tasted more like whipped cream than mascarpone. I would be open to possibly trying other dishes at this location, however, it fell a little short for an Italian restaurant from my experiences."

"Oh my goodness! There is so many great things to say about this place. Let's start with our waitress, Courtney. She was AWESOME! She was super nice (we had 5 kids with us ranging in ages from 13 to 6). She was patient with the kids and answered all of their questions and had a great attitude. We went during happy hour which had some great options. I wish I'd of sprang $2 more for the shot of whiskey bc 5 kids...whooo mama needed it We ordered the hummus and flatbread snack, it was very flavorful and the flatbread had a nice texture and had some spices on it that brought out the flavors of the hummus, which had pistachios and kalamata olives on top. Super yummy. We chose to stick to pizzas since we were on our way home and had a 3 hour drive ahead of us, so it came out promptly.Pork belly and Padron was AMAZING! it had an amazing flavor with the honey. We also ordered a meatball pie. I'm super picky about meatballs and these balls were nothing less than absolutely perfect. They weren't overrun by fennel like some balls. The other two pizzas were aimed at the kids, cheese and pepperoni. As mundane as that sounds they were awesome also. The pepperoni had a great flavor and the cheese blend they use must've been made by unicorns because it was some of the best I've had. Now, let's talk about the crust. It was thin and not overpowering. The crust didn't take away from the magic of the toppings but added to the party that was going on inside my mouth!I will definitely be back next time I come to Truckee!Thank you Courtney! Update: 5/21/22Still AMAZING! Their cocktail menu is superb! Creative AND tasty! The hummus is fantastic! The pistachios taste super fresh and their olive oil is smooth. I would like to see a collaboration with their equally fantastic neighbor, Tahoe Oil Spice.I'm NEVER disappointed in their food or their service.5 stars, as usual!"
