"The best Valentine's Day dinner ever, the food was brilliant, shrimp cocktail, strawberry valine salad, fillet with lobster dick baked potatoes fresh vegetables, and one from this world dessert plate. Live music too! It was the best. Our server Christine Anne was great and her assistant Josh, who we never wanted for something.. The owner stopped at our table and spoke for a few minutes. Nice atmosphere, went to Fayettville on the lake. Definitely plan to go back!"

I've heard about this place, but never before. The staff is on everything. Portions are big. The lunch menu is worth it, and these are also the specialties. The dinner menu is on the edge of the outrageous price. Our bill for lunch, what a derée would have for dinner?????????

My husband, my daughter and I ate here on Saturday 6/28/2014 and I have a scream from our waitress Olivia. She was the best! She treats potentially bad situations with a smile. She takes the problem and lets you happy!! Do you hear management? I think this girl needs a promotion!

"Ortygia is a work of love in the form of Chef Gaetano's passion for authentic Sicilian cooking, beautiful and artistically executed in a cozy, funky, and turned down to the earth 'Old Florida' Cottage in the 'Village of the Arts' neighborhood just easily occupied from the beaten path of bustling, downtown Bradenton, Florida. The menu is unique and variable and has Sicilian specialties with the Greek, French and North African influences of Gaetano, which blend into an exquisite culinary experience. The interior dining rooms are small and intimate, and not without any sense that you have prepared 've in nonna's kitchen back to the old country with the divine earthy aromas of food lovingly by hand in a small kitchen and even some occasional colorful banters as boss Gaetano, like the captain of a small, lively ship, conduct operations and interact with its guests in a way to a really charming jersey. The staff of Ortygia is also attentive and personal, catering for every need. The guests can feel as if they had become good friends with their hosts, and usually a little Italian they picked up on their way and soon back. On weekends you can treat live music by local artists, and weather permits, courtyard seats are also very extended Ortygia seating capacity. The parking is convenient and convenient and the dining area is accessible. In the season Ortygia is a busy place, and reservations well in advance are strongly suggested. Do not miss this jewel of a culinary experience in the Old World!"
