"Found ourselves in Lisbon for an evening and we decided to eat in the area. Took a little searching but was able to determine that in door dining was available at Frank's with a reservation during covid world; so we made one. The place looks a little kitschy at first pass but dont let it put you off. There is moxie on the menu, but it is not ever present and the things it's in make sense and actually appealed to me...moxie onion jam...yes please. The whole restraint as near as I can tell eats like a bar. There is a long bar where people were eating as well as an area with elevated tables. This in-town landmark has an incredibly warm atmosphere and some of the friendliest staff I've ever encountered. Top it off with great service and tasty food and my family had a wonderful time!

Did you read Stephen Kings “11.22.63”? The experience of Jake Epping in Lisbon cases was based on Stephen's real experiences. For example, the Kennebec Fruit and Frank Anicetti were real together with the root beer and moxie. This is the new place to honor Frank. The poutine was excellent. The root beer was nothing but reason, but it was all equally worth it. Our server was great along with the atmosphere of the pub.

This place was great! Fast, friendly service, and the food came quickly. Not only that, the food was delicious. I didn't want french fries or mashed potatoes so I got a double order of vegetables. The picture is after only one small bite. It didn't seem like it was doubled but I did have enough to eat. They even offered my daughter a freeze pop when she finished eating. Highly recommend. The parking lot is tiny so you may need to park on the street.
