"Fresh Catch is actually closed and the restaurant is now just Broken Wheel Brewery which was one of the worst meals we have had. Our burgers were cold, fries were just ok and service was so slow. People seem to come for the beer, but the food was not redeemable. We came and left hungry because the food just wasn't worth the calories. We never give bad reviews, but this was just really awful."

We met our grandson there who is stationed at Ft. Polk. We got to introduce ourselves to our first GREAT grandson there at the restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious! We do miss the good LA food since moving to TN! It was a WONDERFUL treat! The restaurant was very clean and the staff were great!

That place was BAD! 1. Horrible service 2. Charged Gratitude on little kids 3. Ran out of fries and then wants to charge you for extra sides 4. Takes too long to get your food 1hr to get the food 5. Over cooks the burgers 6. Sends food out cold 7. Serves old spoiled crawfish.(smelled and tasted bad) 8. Oh yea again HORRIBLE SERVICE!

"Yesterday my family and I ate here while we visited family in the area. The establishment of the restaurant was good and the atmosphere was very quiet and collected. I had the gyro and shrimp pasta with a Lebanese tea. For an appetizer we had the fried cheese sticks. All were well cooked and tasteful. The food was cheap and not too expensive. Although I give this place 5 stars, I must be honest and say that the service for the day was sub par; but not for the blame of the restaurant. Our waitress was very nice and very helpful when we had questions about the menu. Unfortunately, for all those who worked there, they were very short employees who caused longer than necessary waiting times. The reason why I do not owe the restaurant is that many restaurants are now unable to get workers in the days (the many “now setting” signs you see everywhere). With the helpers they did, the service was as good as he could have been. I appeal to the waiters to remain professional and cordial in an extremely stressful and frustrating situation, not having enough workers to cover this night. I would definitely recommend to anyone in town who wants to eat some Mediterranean food here. It's definitely worth it."

"Fried fish was great, way too over priced for what we thought we were getting based on reviews and pictures though. Maybe we just went at a bad time. The platter wasn’t a platter literally just fish and fries, and my catfish avoyelles which is one of my favorite meals to get at most Cajun restaurants. Was literally a pice of fish on a bed of rice . Had almost no etoufee anywhere, and not a single crawfish tail in my plate. Didn’t look anything like anyone else’s pictures."

"I decided to get a quick bite to visit Marksville and Stephen's was my choice. Outside the appearance, Cajun was so 5/5 on what to expect. I didn't catch her name on the front, but she greeted me with a smile and told me about drinks specialties. She didn't leave me any questions before she stopped me. 5/5 The decor was decent, but my only complaint was the layout of the restaurant. 3/5 I ordered the crust lock. I ordered that it expects a strong scattering and not what you would normally expect in a pack (that is why I ordered it), I was surprised that the spices in the dough complicated the lightness of the tar, while not the crust gums and gum 5/5."

"Absolutely excellent food, beer and service! Marksville has a hidden jewel here. Unique menu items that are a fusion of Asian and Cajun cuisine. Chef Trent definitely knows what he does in this kitchen, as represented by the dining room full of happy and satisfied guests. The Blackened Salmon Sashimi appetizer and Andouille Crusted Redfish Entree are both how to try! Show them a love!"
