The way they serve the Smoked Old Fashioned (cocktail) is interesting. The food (I had pork chops, my companion had stuffed mahi mahi) was very good. I was somewhat disappointed that there were so few seafood options on the menu, but I do understand that in New Orleans, a restaurant struggles to find its own niche. Our server was excellent, and gave us good recommendations.

gallianos eating and table service were excellent. we had half-shell oysters, baked oysters and louisiana seafood lafourche. all very good! on the other side I had a reservation by opentable for 19 clock, and we were not up to 7:40. the host said he would find me at the bar when the table was finished, and he didn't. I had to go back and remind him we were waiting. while we waited, several other tables were sitting. we finally took place 45 minutes after our reservation time. the area is a little small, and the noise level has sometimes been exaggerated. her choice of music was very repetitiw and monotonous, especially as only the bass could be heard.
