"we were third to dinner in the "puk up’n beams" and found the ambiente original and funny, off the beaten gourmet path. angled with work and lots of wood, all kinds of collection pieces on the beams - definitiw not styled by an interior architect. We liked that well. The layers to establish the restaurant by troll (?) puk are charming and entertaining, the service was extremely friendly, funny and attentive. the foods are rather good home cooking than haute cuisine, but exactly what we expected (and what we paid for). the prices are moderate and reasonable, local cuisine with lots of fish, but also a vegan dish for our daughter. if we should be beaten again, we will go back there."

"the location in bergen is ideal to wash out because very centrally located. parking lots there are many, they are free that are more beaten. the house is cozy, despite the age it is good in shot, the beds and pölster allow a good sleep. personal friendliness, from recipe to housekeeping to restaurant. the breakfast buffet is ok if they are longer ahead of location, a little more change would be advantageous. the price wsr to fight for a 4-star house. we stayed two times in the park hotel and will surely come back. room: 4 service: 5 location: 4 hotel highlights: quiet, Kid-friendly, great value"

"Wir haben während des Hotelaufenthalts im Parkhotel a la Carte im Restaurant Orchidee gegessen: Vorspeise, Hauptgang und Dessert, dazu korrespondierender Wein und Wasser. Die Küche ist solide und geschmacklich gut. Der Service, eine junge Dame, war flott, freundlich und vom Fach - so macht es Spaß! Neben ein paar weiteren a la Carte- Gästen gab es noch Gäste, die Halbpension gebucht hatten und mehrere Reisegruppen, die sich am Buffet bedient hatten. Das klingt erstmal nach viel Trubel im Restaurant, ist es aber überhaupt nicht, da hier mit geschickten Raumteilern gearbeitet wird und das Restaurant somit mehrere Bereiche hat, gut gelöst. Wir waren froh, dass es direkt "vor unserer Nase" so gutes Essen gab. In Bergen selber gibt es nämlich nicht wahnsinnig viel. Alles bestens, empfehlen wir gerne weiter."
