"Proven with previous reservations and sitting at the worst places in the whole restaurant! When we asked to be moved, which was 30 minutes later, we had not even seen the waitress, nor were water or bread given. After moving tables into a back room that smells like cats, we waited on. This place is not the special place I visited. Why should everyone spend the prizes he asks to have such a terrible experience. I won't come back soon. My review is as follows: okay food, unfriendly manager / concierge, very slow service and a great view if you happen to get a nice place on the back terrace with a fire pit. Gateway, but you were a big disappointment."

Considering the other options in the area is still one of the best one but do not expect much. it is just fair. Personnel is very kind.

We had a fantastic experience dining at this restaurant for Valentine's Day. The atmosphere was romantic, with dim lighting and soft music playing in the background. The service was excellent, the waitstaff was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, we especially enjoyed the special Valentine's Day menu that was offered. Overall, we had a lovely evening and would highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion.

"We stopped by the peaks restaurant in Wuksachi Lodge for lunch while we were at Sequoia National Park. We had to place an order at the counter and get an order number. This took around 15 min since there were several groups ahead of us. They bring your order out to you, but water is self-service. We chose to sit indoors since it was a very hot day. There is plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. We got a great table by the window and could look out into the national park while we ate. We got the baked acorn squash. The other vegetarian options were the soup of the day, 2 salads, a personal pizza where you pick the toppings, and a vegan hummus wrap. The baked acorn squash was delicious! It had a quinoa and goat cheese filling and was very flavorful. The roasted carrots and brocolini it came with were well roasted and had good flavors. You can pick a soup or house green salad with it. We picked the salad, which was ok (didn't like the dressing much). My husband also got the chicken wings, which he said were pretty good. Overall, the food was much better than what we were expecting and it was surprisingly very vegetarian friendly! It is a little pricey though!"

This place is not the special place I used to visit. Why would anybody spend the prices they are asking to have such a terrible experience. I will not be returning anytime soon. My assessment is as follows: okay food, unfriendly manager/concierge, very very slow service and a great view if you happen to get a nice spot on the back patio with a fire pit. Sorry Gateway but you were a big disappointment."
