"We had a $100 gift certificate that we were unable to use at this restaurant in Madison. We were visiting from out of town, and at the time, they were only offering carryout services. Despite having a valid certificate, we were informed that it could not be honored. Unfortunately, by the time we returned to Madison, the restaurant had permanently closed. It is disappointing that they did not honor our gift certificate, especially since we had paid for it in advance. While we understand the challenges businesses faced during the COVID-19 pandemic, this experience has left a negative impression on us and others."

We stumbled upon it when we were in Madison and had a lovely evening and an excellent meal. Loved the ambience!

The food at this restaurant was amazing. Be sure to try the salmon, scallops, local whitefish, Brussels sprouts, and mushrooms, and make sure to leave room for the chocolate tart! Our table had a wonderful view overlooking the capital building, with an almost full moon in the sky, making the evening even more special. We can't wait to come back soon!
