"I can't eat enough. back again and again. a luxurious style brewhouse. authentic German eating with the extras added - a jägerschnitzel is not only a typical carving, but with a decadent mushroom cream sauce and roasted swashing above there is that. extra touch of the class that other brewhouses do not offer. the cordon bleu is just as good and expects that they pay more than they are in a typical brewhouse, but eating it makes it completely rewarding. it really was worth it! the hotel is located in the heart of ehrenfeld. Dessert divine! Walnut ice cream with icy and whipped cream they will share it for them if they want to share. Top service and top food."

the hotel is located in ehrenfeld. they can sit outside in the backyard, but also in front of the lively venloer road. usually German kitchen, very nice and cozy kitchen. Price/quality is also good. the service was ok tonight. had a rubbing cake with tartar as an appetizer and...saltimbocca as pornstar, both beautiful

excellent local traditional foods in an authentic environment, but with a young one. the service is very attentive. although German or carolish standard dishes are served, the ingredients seem fresh, well-chosen and prepared with care. the place itself is a well maintained old school. brauerei but clean and tasteful. as a carpenter with 14 years exile in asia, I absolutely love to go there and fix my local food search.

you can enter the house scholzen over the cafe or around the corner in the restaurant. the cafe looks like a typical pub, cosy furnishings and small. you have to go to eat. the huge functional spaces are then visible and it is. a typical old-fashioned (please never think of modernization) decoration. back to the time with nostalgic feelings. the menu offers all German specialties, including local celiac. I had the kitchen salad with huh, a great dish for the healthy hungry people.

"This Italian restaurant enjoys a good reputation among the Nippes, whether right or wrong, everyone has to decide for themselves. In my opinion, there are much better addresses in the vicinity. After the renovation work that was carried out some time ago, the shop again bulges properly. In the summer you can sit here wonderfully outside and look at the diverse Veedelsleben in Nippes with a wine, a water or an always maintained Gaffel Kölsch. Admittedly to name the terrace is perhaps somewhat exaggerated, because the heavily driven Neusser Str. is very loud and unpleasant due to the exhaust gases just on hot days, but you can still hold it well. The Mimmo u Santo is, all in all, a quite normal pizzeria regarding the quality of food. In my opinion, prices, similar to most restaurants in this category, are clearly too high for the main dishes except pizza and pasta. At a comparable price you can find significantly better quality in Cologne. Pleasant, however, are the spacious rooms and open kitchen in the upper part of the restaurant, although the noise level appears almost unbearable with full utilization. Accordingly, this restaurant does not come to the “more choice” for a romantic, cozy evening to two!!! Also negative was the uneven service clothing for both the waiters and the chefs. An employee of the kitchen team wore a knit sweater during my last visit, three more showed themselves in the private street block T Shirt only one with white cooking apparel, although it was clear legal regulations. Personal hygiene HACCP gives ... I advertised the completed service as “ moderately friendly”, at times I felt “the appearance and effect” of the waiters very intrusive! When the menus were handed over, the waiter stopped at the table while we chose. I felt craved and put under pressure. Gaffel Kölsch from the barrel is presented here 0.4l 3,00 € What I liked: The Kölsch was tapped quickly and always well maintained! After years of continuous observation, I note: The food remains on the same simple, i.e. acceptable, handicraft level. As a “small greeting from the kitchen” there is always a little antipasti with bread. The card dishes usually do not expect surprises, which is a pleasant constant! ... besides being ordered by the board... I did this at my last visit and should be bitterly repent as it turned out during the evening! I ordered sea bass with sage Risotto € 15,50 greedy served, the dish initially looked quite clear but appealing. ABER as a professional Risotto lover my disappointment was very big! The Risotto Rice was not made with onions or herbs, Parmesan did not find any application here, the Risotto did not “small” and came very “dry” so... A sage leaf draped in the midst of the clear Risotto harp could not inspire me. The sea bass was slightly overcrowded and was gently “opened” in “simple” oil. Another inattentiveness was that no fish cutlery was given to the fish. The lasagna of my accompaniment € 9,50, as well as the supplement salad € 4,00 was without complaints and was rated as “good”. I've only eaten half of my portion, despite great hunger. The waiter asked “Hat ́s tasted” – I replied no! It was all a trace of fat and too sweet. He left the table without commenting and/or apologising words ... And once again I had to announce my innocence in the form of “no tipping” – but this gesture was suffocated – it seemed like it was indifferent to the waiter! ... or have you been used to a minimum TIP award at this “gastliche Ort”??? My conclusion: Whether you have spent a pleasant stay or whether you leave the place with a reasonable satisfaction does not seem to be of interest here or is not given a particular priority. I don't get back here as fast as I can. No recommendation!"
