"I have always loved Hawthornes choose to dine here whether for work or personal meals. I hadn’t been in a few weeks ordered take out tonight. 1 large pizza, Cesar salad, and wings. All were unfortunately inedible. I would’ve returned the food, but I live 45 minutes away and due to never having a bad experience before, I didn’t think to try the food before leaving after picking up. We truly believe whomever made the pizza simply forgot the sauce all together. There was no sauce on the pizza… At all, the wings were sparsely sauced, and the lettuce was bitter and wilted. Hawthorne's has been around the Charlotte area for many years. This Mint Hill location has as well, but it needs some updating inside. Food was good and service was excellent.
