"Today's special was incredible! Let's talk about the sandwich! I ordered a small, but it was actually quite large. And I got fries too—more like a mountain of fries for a "small" order! The BBQ and cole slaw were fantastic. I left a tip for the girl serving me, and she genuinely thanked me. I told her the tip was worth it just to appreciate the lovely waitstaff in their shorts. Wow, great service all around. Everything was excellent!"

I was charged for food that I never received, even though your waitress confirmed that it was included in the bag. I ended up leaving a $10 tip for poor service, and I won't return to a place that takes advantage of its customers.

We placed a to-go order, but when we got home, it was completely wrong. When we called to address the issue, they said we needed to come back in so they could fix it. We drove back, only for them to inform us that we had to bring the incorrect food with us. So, we had to drive all the way home to retrieve the food from the trash just to bring it back to Hendricks and finally get our lunch! I will never eat there again!

I was pleased with the food and service during my recent visit to Hendrix BBQ. However, I was caught off guard by an unexpected 3.99% convenience charge applied to my credit card payment, including the tip. It would have been nice to have prior notice of this charge so I could make different payment arrangements. Despite this issue, my overall experience was enjoyable, thanks to the friendly staff and the charming retro decor.
