"We 've been told about this restaurant and steak house several times. Some had called it the best in the area. Finally as meat lovers we made it there. The ambiance is cosy and reminds to typical US steak house style. The menu is...giant in selection for meat dishes indeed a big plus! Also the wine list offers greta stuff to enjoy. The service was rather ok than expected in a place at this price category. The meat was of good quality, however the chef didn 't met the proper preparation for either our steaks we had the US prime aged, quite expensive as 300g are for 57EUR . The both medium and medium rare have been too done almost one grade above. The mashrooms have been totally over salted, it did already hurt at my tounge. Also teh spinnach was too salty event that they used the delicious stone salt which comes with those crispy splinters . Announcing this to the service tehy ofefred to replace, however as both side dishes have been too much salty I didn 't trust and steayed with the meat, which was even a bit too done good. But then I got a bit embarrassed as the service told me: Well, we all !! really all? in service and kitchend did try and none of us found it too salty! I severyl doubt, however tasts are different for sure. But even if they think like this, it is NOT appropriate make a guest paying almost 80 EUR for a dish feeling like a fool. Again the esperioence repeated in Germany: the managers of such places indeed should get some service lessons from the REAL big steak houses in USA there they may learn how to treat their customers properly. Pls go to the Mortons and Shulas and Smith&Wollanskys to get an idea in order to train your staff accordingly. But maybe they don 't need, as in the service and cuisine desert of Germany those restaurants are always packed and if customers don 't like how they are they don 't need to come back. Too pitty actually. Summary: a good steak house with a great selection in the menu. However due to our experience neither in finalization of the steaks nor in terms of service teh standard we are used to in this price categories."
