"Best casino buffet! We love their food and try to go at least 1x a week for lunch or dinner. Their mashed potatoes are delicious and so is their beef roasts stew and prime rib. Their Friday night all you can eat buffet is a great deal at $26 per person. Includes snow crab, some sort of meat roast, a fresh salad bar and dessert bar. They have a couple of side dishes to choose room which are always appetizing. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30

"This is the first place in the White Mountains that lived until the Hype. We had to get out (child:eyeroll:: but the staff was friendly and helpful. They have a small but good choice of alcohol. The decor was simple and funny. The food was fast and delicious! We had two burgers that were juicy and tasteful, but a little over boiled. We asked for Medium Rare. The garlic fries are so good and the fire fries are embarrassing."

"ABSOLUTELY delicious! My favorite Mexican restaurant in the white mountains. Very authentic, huge portions for the price and a beautiful atmosphere. Everything is quite expensive and they also have daily specialties. Good service, but worth the ride from Taylor/Snowflake to pinetop/lakeside. Very recommended! We ordered the fajita burrito and the pollo asado that was special."

"This restaurant receives a mixed review from me. After living in the area for six years, my husband and I finally decided to try the chalet. The ambiance was pleasant, although we chose to eat in the bar, which was well-organized. My husband opted for the early bird menu and ordered salmon. While the ingredients were fresh, the dish was quite bland, and the portion of salmon was very small. I decided to go with the menu from Sharkys Sushi Bar, choosing Sashimi along with a California Roll and a Boston Roll. It was absolutely fantastic! The portions were generous, and everything was incredibly fresh and expertly prepared. The service was excellent, though my husband received his meal well before I did, despite my order being something that shouldn’t take long to prepare. I will definitely return for the delicious and fresh sushi, but I’m unlikely to try the restaurant dishes again, especially considering the prices, which are among the highest on the mountain."
