"Ja Grill in Hyde Park Ever since I watched the second season of Luke Cage on Netflix I wanted to try the Jamaican food. In that season a large part of the show takes place in a Jamaican restaurant and I was curious. On our way to MSI we hit this place up. The 1/2 Jerk chicken was delicious, the ribs was not over powering. I ordered it hot and it not burning to where you can’t enjoy it. It came with cabbage and rice and fried plantains. All sumptuous. start with the rum punch and add the jerk chicken. the chicken will fall from the bone and the sauce on the side adds a ton more taste. the cabbage was tasteful and perhaps saltier when I needed, but it was good. the service was solid, as I just stepped in before closing.

I went to this restaurant on 7/22/2022. This restaurant has the perfect vibe and employees for any time of the day. I went for lunch and had the chicken curry with sweet tea. Entrées automatically come with sides that was awesome as well. It was really good and I enjoyed the man who was serving me. Definitely coming back!!
