"This is the second time I have a made a reservation for this restaurant on OpenTable to arrive and see the restaurant closed. All that was on the door was a cheap fast-food style hand written sign saying now closed for lunch and only open for dinner. If this is the case, then don't allow reservations for Sunday brunch. This place has gone so downhill over the past couple of years, and I should have known by the subpar overall rating now on OpenTable (a service of which they cannot even manage properly)!"

This was opening night. The restaurant was not as ready as they should have been. I will try again later. This was the first time I used the reservation online. It worked great. Thank you.

I wouldn't recommend to anyone right now. I have been eating at Jim's Place for about 20 years and now they sold it to a Grisanti. If I wanted to eat at a Grisanti restaurant, I would have made reservations at Franks. However, I was very disappointed that I not only didn't get the meal I wanted for my birthday, but had to leave and go somewhere else. The menu was lame at best and they didn't even have a wine list yet. I expected much more.

It is so sad .... Went to Jim 's place last night. Had not been there in several years. Did not know. It changed ownership. At 7:30pm on a Friday night there were many many empty tables. Food was ok my salad was very watery and chicken livers so salty. Had to ask waiter for water refills. Put our gratuity on check (we were with a party of 6) and then told us we could add more. Just not the same Jim 's. With so many wonderful restaurants in our town they need to step up.

"Quality not what it used to be. A year ago or so I wrote a reviewing liking this location. We got our usual to go this time (much like other times) and when my husband got home I was incredibly dissapointed. He said they were busy and looked disarrayed but it doesn't give them an excuse for giving us ****. The bartender ignored my husband when he tried to tell them he was there to pick up and saw the order come out and only after our order was sitting there for a while did he finally ask what he was there for. Now that's whatever as long as this pregnant lady gets her food. I eagerly open the box and what do I find? A few sweet potato fries, the avocado smothered on the burger soaking the bun, and no pickle. The bun was falling apart as soon as I tried to pick it up so I ate it with a fork and knife. Even the sauce cup barely had any sauce but enough I guess for the meager portion of fries I got! This makes me sad as we're regulars. That will no longer be true.<br/ <br/ <br/ 01 Aug, 2014 <br/ <br/ West coast burger sweet potato fries. I have gotten the west coast burger and sweet potato fries every single time I've gone there and my boyfriend has now copied my choice. I'm sure the other burgers are good too but if I have a craving for Huey's, that's what I get. Their onion rings are also good and huge but they are the type that the onion slips straight out of the breading. The lemon box cake thing made me very happy. If you want to go to any Huey's, the midtown location is the one to go to! Don't go to the downtown site. They were really rude both times we stopped by to get a to go order when we were on our bikes."
