"The food was excellent and that's why I gave 5 stars. If there were stars to rate the ladies personal and attitude it would be 1 star. I could not believe how I was treated and greeted. She actually just tossed my change and placed the bag of food on the floor. There is no need to treat people like that! I got the impression that this lady is covid paranoid. And if a person is that fearful, then they should stay home and collect social security. Unfortunately, I probably won't be back."

Fantastic spot with such amazing outdoor space. My partners brother in law is from south Africa so we went their to celebrate their wedding and had an incredible dinner. The drinks are a bit weak but all the food is awesome and so unique!

I always love going to Karoo when I come to the Cape. It is a nice change from fish all week. The atmosphere is wonderful and the dishes are so good and unique. The only opportunity to taste African cuisine. So disappointed to see that they were closed. Hope they're able to make a come back..

Karoo is an excellent restaurant to dine at. Staff is always very attentive and the meals and food quality is consistently excellent. Very friendly and attentive bar area (pre-covid) and mixed drinks are always perfect. The owner takes great pride in insuring an excellent dining experience at affordable prices .
