"we stopped on Sunday morning after a weekend in maine on the way back to home. I have the cookies and gravy, which was honestly too little luster. I was not impressed by the taste of the heavy it was made with sweet Italian sausage instead of breakfast sausage. completely understandable, but there was no attempt to match the actual taste profile to a sausage value. that said the sose itself was great for what it was! it stopped and was not oily and it was the right resistance. the biscuit was also homemade and a really nice part. unfortunately the floor was burned. I also had a cup of chili delicious. the service and the atmosphere were great and you can say that the staff has a really good...

Food is cheap compared to the rest of the town's tourist prices and it's a great place to cross talk with others about town news and what's affecting the region. Great service, down to earth and comfortable. The best part is the way this tiny little place supports locals. So grateful for the awesomeness found here on a Sunday morning. A perfect little hidey hole for a filling meal and a good cup of tea.

Stopped in on our way to Ossipee for breakfast. This is obviously a spot where the locals go for a good and hearty breakfast. We arrived 40 minutes before closing and had a chance to watch the owner and his partner banter with the diners. There are just 5 booths, a table for 6, and a few stools at the counter, so expect this place to be busy on popular times (weekends and all summer). Food was good. I enjoyed French Toast, and some really great bacon. Real maple syrup is a must! My wife had corned beef hash and a poached egg with an English muffin. Great time in conversation with the owner before it closed for the day. We need to come back and enjoy the award winning chile!!

"We love to try new restaurants and facilities in our city, but originally O Bistro was good from our daily price range. On a whine during the ride in the rain, I thought it was just my daughter and I this evening and I didn't like cooking dinner. We entered and were pleasantly surprised that the place felt inviting and we were not dressed in our jeans and sweatshirts. Immediately we were warmly welcomed by a host who asked if we would rather eat it in their pub or in the dining room. She showed us on a beautiful hi-top table in the pub area where about 5 other couple parties were sitting. We have penetrated the menu and were pleasantly surprised that the prices were no more than any other similar style restaurant in the area. Our server was very attentive and personal and made us feel right at home, recited some food and beverage specialties, and offered some suggestions when we told her that this was our visit to O. They make their own variations of Sangria, which was delicious, and the owner Patti presented himself and told us how happy she was that we took the chance and decided to stop in her establishment. She warned that when we look at the appetizers, the portions were considerable. Our server started us with freshly baked baguette slices, which were crusty on the outside and were served on the inside soft and warm with a mixed butter. My daughter got pork puff sticker app and a 'side' her homemade 5 cheese macaroni and cheese with Cavatappi noodles. The page was much more than she could be done and I can't even imagine how big the full size was Entree portion! I ordered the roasted chicken area with sour cream and Chive homemade potato and steamed whole young carrots. For such a basic sounding food it was anything but. The chicken was perfect season and juicy, the taste of the potatoes were incredibly delicious, and the al dente texture of the carrots (which in many places can usually be soggy and straight out of a frozen bag) was perfect and tasted everything as if it were produced locally or picked this morning. They are based on the season ingredients and we were told that items are rotating regularly. They also made us aware that everything you can eat Easter brunch buffet to this Sunday in their large renovated barns venue that they have meals and events such as weddings and festivals for just such special holiday. When we finished, we had to take leftovers home and skip on Dessert, but the offers sound amazing. It was clear that her chef is an artist who knows his craft well and in the time we left, we separated paths with Patti with a hug and a promise to be again soon as regular guests. O Bistro is without question our new favorite restaurant in the city."
