"Hunan was a great option for us in Carbondale. You do all the basics well, but also a great variety of you want to try something new. We love their orange chicken, general Tso and Panaang chicken curry, and for a big appetizer we recommend their potstickers! It is a beautiful atmosphere and we always had a good service. Our only holding is that you cannot travel for pasta with dishes, they only offer full quantities of noodles for additional costs. You probably have a good reason, but it's still a bit left out because my wife doesn't eat rice. Overall we enjoy Hunan's and it holds a special place for us as it was our first date dinner!"

"Traveling through town husband found this gem on his phone. It was a little hard to find at night but worth it. It is a very cool feel when you walk in. Small and intimate. owner was super friendly and wait staff as well. Explained menu with the days specials. Husband stationed in Greece for 2 yrs and had the Greek lamb with orzo. He was transported back to Greece. Cocktails are top shelf I had chicken with figs on sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts. I have to admit I have tried brussel sprouts before and I do not like them. Period. These were amazing and if I could make them like this I'd be eating them all the time. The entire dinner was amazing. I left with a full satisfied stomach. No to go box as it was the perfect size. My home in Wisconsin is 533 miles from here. When I travel south again I will stop here!!! Super great owners."

"When visiting my wifes brother and his family outside Carbondale this seemed like the only option. Looking over the menu online I wasn't that impressed, but I'm glad I went here, and we went twice! The red curry at dinner was great, and less questionable than some Thai places I have been to. The cupcake for dessert was a great finish. We went back for breakfast and I got a fairly simple tofu scramble, Mexican or Southwestern type dish that was very satisfying. Sometimes the only option doesn't mean it's a bad choice. Look forward to visiting the in-laws again."

"Great place, great people!! Thank you! AAA Really cute staff.. Great food! The sauce is so good, the small pieces of burnt pieces on the crust is to die!! My son has a free t-shirt, I have to hold my cup!! I will always go back when I visit! I wish I could order one now!! I had pepper and mushroom pizza!!! If you make a review of the egg yolk, you can get a free cheese garlic bread, I think that's what they said. Yumm!"
