"These reviewers have no idea what they are talking about. First, this is Tex-Mex, not authentic Mexican food. And BAD Tex-Mex. The burrito had the beans and rice IN the burrito. Which means they are SCREWING their customer by reducing the amountof meat, beans, and rice that they are serving. The burrito had NO taste and no ingredients (besides cheese) to give it anycharacter. I had to ask for salsa just to make it palatable. We sat on the patio. Three of us shared the taco platter, we got the chimichanga, nachos, and a taco plate. The portions are amazing. Tons of meat! Service was great. Great atmosphere. Great food! Highly recommend. Oh! And the Adios MF margarita! Wow!You only need one

I'm from Texas so I believe tex mex is pretty close to the real deal mexican food. I'm usually disappointed eating Mexican food anywhere else so we usually don't eat it when on vacation. This time I figured we can give it a try. The pozole was very good,the mole was very rich. I was pleasantly surprised and actually went back to try other things and couldn't find anything tocomplain about and I actually thought it was some of the best Mexican food north of the border. The view from the patio isamazing as well. I come into town every year and can't wait to come back.

They were very good! The drinks were meh but the food was enjoyable. There are a couple other better Mexican restaurants in Estes but if you 're in the area, La Cocina isn 't a bad stop. The salsa was yummy and the chips were decent. It was affordableand good value for the money. It 's a little outside downtown Estes so you can avoid the hoards of crowds that come with thesummer months. There isn 't A LOT of parking so plan accordingly but we 've never been there and not find parking. I 'm not sure ifthat 's an indicator of a bigger issue but it works well for us lol. They also have a food truck we enjoy ordering from as well.You won 't go wrong coming here but like I said, some other places...
