"La Catrina doesn't take reservations, but we were able to be seated as soon as we arrived. Unfortunately, where we were seated was next to a birthday party of 10 people, but we were able to be moved to a quieter spot or so we thought. However, the noise level in the restaurant was extraordinarily loud, and we had a hard time hearing each other across the table. As for the food, we enjoyed the guacamole and chips although would have loved for it to have been prepared tableside and with cilantro which was nonexistent. Food quality was good, however taste and punch is lacking. This was my second time there. Dishes just lack the Mexican flavor.

we were a little worried after reading some of the reviews but decided to try it anyway and we are glad we did. first of all the service was excellent even the young man busing the table was so nice. our server was also excellent. we each had tacos short rib, pork , cauliflower and got four instead of corn. from all reports the meat tacos were fresh and tasty. my cauliflower tacos were excellent. loved the flavor. the flour tortillas were better than the corn option.the chips and salsa were not outstanding but fine enough. good little spot for a quick lunch.
