"I've eaten here too many times and never written a review. Best Carne guisada burritos anywhere. I am never disappointed with the breakfast burritos or tamales. Next I need to try some lunch specials and I'm sure it will also be delightful. I highly recommend this place but be ready to wait in line. Always busy but worth it."

I like la Popular. Their food is good, and their kitchen looks very clean. Their burritos are not as generous as Hernandez bakery on Oak st though.

The burritos are AMAZING. We get cravings for them all the time. I suggest the bacon/egg/cheese or the chorizo/egg burritos. Did I mention they're inexpensive...especially considering the yummy tortillas that they use for the burritos...

"I have been going here for years. I don't agree with the companies religious values or views but the food is good and when it's late and I am not in the mood to cook it's easy and so much better than the Mc place. My son loves the food so we don't fight and that's always good for me! The people are amazing here, always kind and helpful!"

"Had lunch here today and it was the fastest most rude and rushed lunch I ever had! Front hosts we’re super friendly and inviting. Once seated our waitress was so unfriendly and downright rude. Snatched my menu out of my hand before I could finish ordering. Rushed through taking our order. As we were eating she reached over us to grab our plates as we were still trying to enjoy our meal. Yes, it was getting close to closing time but I have NEVER felt so rushed and unsatisfied with service as I was today. Food was AMAZING as usual but I wasn’t even allotted time to finish my chicken fried steak. Had to box it up and finish it in my car. How sad is that! "eating is great, but much too expensive. a single lunch was $20. offer an salat online and pays $1.50 for extra ranch. when the order arrived, I did not get the salat, the drink, the extra ranch or the utensils I paid. I didn't care when I called, it's obviously just my problem, not her."

"I'm disappointed. Seeing the great reviews, and then being in the restaurant seeing their signs regarding no refunds on due to spice and other rules. I was expecting very good authentic Thai. Unfortunately the food I had lacked flavor. I ordered two pad Thai and a red curry. The pad Thai lacked any sort of flavor at all. The red curry was much more flavorful but had more of a tomato taste unsteady of a curry taste. All in all the service was great, the atmosphere was great but the food was very disappointing. I just moved into the area from Seattle and Thai is my favorite food so definitely will to give it another chance."
