"Family and I have stopped here several times in the past 6 months. The entrees are pretty good. Always hot and fresh with a decent portion size for the price. We tried their desserts once and were not pleased with those. It took a long time to get them so I believe they were prepared and then sat there waiting for the server to bring them out. The service is my only complaint about the place."

"We were on our way home from Jeeps on the mountain at Sundown ski resort. Caught the 2nd half of the Hawkeye game. My wife wanted pretze bites and a BLT. The cook made it happen. Even though its not on the menu...EXCELLENT Time in the basement!!!"

"I recommend the Mei Fun. It's not on the menu because it takes a little longer to make (a half an hour). But its WELL WORTH THE WAIT! Its my favorite. It is a noodle dish, the noodles are similar to angel hair pasta. Yummy! It costs the same as Lo Mein."

"The ladies that work at The Local do a very nice job. They tend to be busy, but these ladies keep smiling and make the effort to keep your experience a positive one. I have not had a bad experience. Also, they accommodate call-in/ pick-up times, which is very appreciated. Recently; I placed an order via phone and was told it would be ready in 10. But I told the gal that I was on the road and at least 30 mins away. She said, Okay, not a problem. It will be ready when you get here. They held the order for 20 mins. before making it. When I arrived, the food had just been boxed/ came out. It was perfect timing. Thank you to the kitchen staff and the wait staff. For all your hard work and kindness. Keep it up. You 're doing great!"
