"My two daughters and I have all gone vegan, yet my husband still eats meat. This is a restaurant where we can all come together and enjoy a meal. The astmosphere is also quite cozy, yet I question the carpets displayed on the wall. There are not free soda refills, yet there is a water spicket. Highly reconmend."

"I usually go to Super Pho on Lancaster but this place is close by so I gave it a shot. I really liked the pho here, better broth flavor than at Super Pho but I tried the meatballs in my pho for the first time and didn?t like the gelatinous bits inside of the meatballs so I wouldn?t get the same kind of pho next time but it was really good. I also got the bahn mi chicken sandwich and it was okay but there was a weird meat pâté that I wasn?t expecting that made it a bit unappetizing, wouldn?t get that again. I also had a honeydew boba slushee with boba and that was really good. Service was fine when I went there, I know some others said they had issues before. I would def try this place again."

"This was my wife and I first time here. We had heard reviews ,and had friends and family that had been here ,and they all had enjoyable experiences! I must say ,I had no idea it would be so good ! Interesting food ,that was like nothing else offered in our area. A First Class experience! Go with the flow ,relax and enjoy..... We look forward to returning and trying more !"

"Hey there, so J's teriyaki used to be the best hole in the wall Japanese restaurant in Salem. That was until the original owners sold it. Now it has past hands twice now and the new owner are taking away all of the original recipes and changing it into kind of a real quick bento box place. It no longer has the sit-down restaurant Japanese feel it used to have. It's really sad to see it go from a Japanese Korean fusion amazing restaurant to a Japanese version of McDonald's. I've talked to the owners and they're just trying to make a buck they do not care about good food. Nothing's homemade or handmade. I am really upset actually! J's teriyaki used to be the best restaurant in Salem. Well I hope this is helpful."

"Hidden little gem! The service was as incredible as the homemade food. The chili tasted like it was straight out of the pot at Grandma’s house, the flaky crust on the cheddar tomato tart was delicious, and the hazelnut chicken salad was creative, mild, and well seasoned. Highly recommend!"
