"Here for birthday dinner. It was a Saturday night and the restaurant wasn't busy at all. Our waitress was very pleasant and accommodating. We had the crab for a starter and there was a lot to share for 4 of us. It had a good taste. I'll give the crab a thumb up. My husband had served the fillet with roasted red potatoes and sugar snap peas. He said it was very good. Three of us have the seafood plate. There were 3 very small scallops and what I would call half a crab cake. The scallops were cooked well. The crab cake had a taste that is not typical of crab cakes in the area. I couldn't place it, but it took away from the taste. There were also some bruised shrimps on the plate and they were...

We had a dinner reservation, were seated at the table outside, with an amazing view. The food was very good, however the server needs to be more attentive as we had to wait for a while to get our drinks refilled. Even though that was a negative, overall we had a nice dining experience with a view during sunset. Great place for any occasion.

My wife and I went to dinner last night and loved the place. Food, service, ambience were all excellent. For apps we had the Lighthouse shrimps and shells both very well flavored. Dinner I had one of their special areas (steak and crab cake) and my wife got the pig's stall. Not disappointed. Dessert we have the key lime cake and lemon berry. Both come very well. I think the price was more than reasonable considering what we have. Everything was amazing. The quality of food was very good. Our waiter Andrew was very good. I would recommend the restaurant to everyone.

"TL/DR: Best dining experience we've ever had at the beach. Long version: A couple quick thoughts. Reservations are accepted which is a huge plus for us. Also, if you're looking for a quick meal, this isn't your place. The dining experience moves at a great pace but for those looking to sit, order, eat, and leave quickly, this isn't for you. Last, this is cash only with an ATM on site. Note that the ATM only allows for $200 maximum withdraw so plan accordingly. The Grove Market feels off the beaten path (we live in OCMD) and is located in a rustic, woodsy location. Very oasis-like locale. The exterior is quaint with some outdoor seating while the indoor dining space is situated in what seems like an old seafood/deli counter. Decor is fun with americana signage all around the room. Our server, Brett, was nothing short of spectacular. Our table was a bit wobbly, and frankly I either didn't notice or care, but Brett insisted on making it right. We ordered a bottle of wine for the table and eventually Brett shared the appetizer menu verbally. They offered 2 salad options, some soups, chilled starters, and some hot options as well. We ordered the coconut crab and mushroom soup and the 13 oysters covered with a delicious tomato based sauce. Both were spectacular and made us even more excited for dinner. The dinner menu was also shared verbally with several options including duck, lamb, beef, and seafood (scallops, halibut, grouper). My wife opted for the grouper and I decided on the halibut, which had a mild thai curry sauce and topped with some crab. Both fish were cooked PERFECTLY. The sides (mashed potatoes, cucumber salad, and a slice of watermelon) were delicious too, but the star of the dish was obvious. Dessert was also offered. Several sounded amazing but we opted for the key lime pie since it's my favorite. Again, another spectacular dish! We'll be back for more!"

"So, the reason that I gave it 4 not 5 stars is not because of the food, but it is because of the atmosphere and the crowd. Let me start by saying that the food was very good, but I just did not like the vibe in there and a lot of drunks came in and kind of ruined the atmosphere but I guess that's what you get when you are 41 years old, but the people that came in looked about my age, and I guess that's what you also get for going to a bar and sitting at the bar hahaha. Anyway, our bartender was not bad oh, but I really want to give a recommendation for a shout-out to the I'm guessing one of the managers who was wearing a gray zip-up sort of fleece jacket I believe with short blonde hair and he looked about late 20s maybe 30s? The wings were very good and the presentation was very good as well, and I like the fact that I was able to choose the toppings for my shrimp tacos with two different choices. The first one was where you can get corn etc etc and the second one is a different set of things on top like spicy Crema vs. Crema Etc. If you are looking for a restaurant and I repeat restaurant that is nice, I don't recommend here. This is more of a bar type of place that has good food. I felt like my girlfriend and I were being looked at as if we didn't belong even though we had some very friendly people around us, I just felt like we did not fit in and a lot of eyes were on us. Maybe I'm crazy, but I don't think so ha ha ha. Anyway, thumbs up and I hope them the best of luck"
