"I never had bad Mexican food. I never had a bad experience with any exotic foods before. even if its not authentic, ive never dissapointed. but here. the service was slow, but maybe they were more busy than I thought. I ordered a plate with two enchiladas. you can't screw up any fridulous, so that it was in order. but the tear was so hard. the enchiladas were coated in this bright red cold sauce, which looked like it just came out of the dose. it had a little acidic looking up. the tortilla was a bit hard. the inner of the enchiladas is what really shocked me. divorced, dry, huh. that's it. no sauce, cheese, drilling or anything else. only dry pieces of tasteless chicken. I can't stand it....

Well, we'd been away from Albany, OR for 2 years and decided to go there one night after work for dinner. Food was good, service ruined it for us. We sat in the bar and wish we wouldn't have. Server/bartender was an absolutely rude man who treated us terribly. Just my experience, food was good try it for yourself, just maybe don't sit in the bar

We are always looking for good Mexican fair. We have eat at other restaurants in this chain before. I had the ChillieRellono. My favorite, this was very flavorful, plenty of cheese and great sauce. Most of the time rice is rice, but this was not to dry with great flavor. The refried beans were okay. My wife had beef Enchiladas, she was very pleased with the texture and flavor. We will go back.

Wonderful Hispanic food at this restaurant! There are many options for vegetarians if that is what you are wanting. Their chicken fajitas are excellent! "we ordered appetizer of the spinach/cheese dip which arrived after our salads and the cheese was hardened on the top making the dish hard to eat. My wife had the lemon chicken and the beans were over cooked and the gnoochi was like eating a flour ball, the chicken was okay. I had the pasta and the noodles were stuck together in the sauce and the amount of mushrooms, olives, and tomatoes was very small, making the dish a stuck together pile of noodles."

"Have you ever received a raw pizza before? No? Me neither, until I ordered from here. The medium pizza was completely doughy, not even close to done. It didn't even LOOK done, so I'm not sure how anyone thought it was ready to box up and send. The calzone was also completely doughy, and didn't even have the right ingredients. I ordered one of their menu items, not a custom request, and only one of the 5 to 6 ingredients was correct. Really disappointing. I don't think there's any coming back from this one. Do better."

"We had planned to gather to celebrate our mother's birthday while everyone was in town after the Thanksgiving holiday. We had previously visited this restaurant for Mother's Day and experienced a very long wait for a table. I was glad to see an option for open table reservations when I searched for the restaurant on Google. I made a reservation and informed everyone that we would not have to wait long this time. However, some of our group arrived early, only to be told by the staff that they do not accept reservations, especially on busy weekends. The rest of us arrived at our reservation time to find our table already seated. I mentioned to the staff that we had a reservation and recommended that they address the issue on Google. They seemed unaware that this was a possibility, so I demonstrated how easy it was to make a reservation online. Despite this, we enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. I would advise others to arrive early if they want to secure a table without a long wait."

"I required a gluten free menu, with attention to limiting cross contact. Sybaris has a separate GF menu, and were versed in taking care. The wait staff made us feel welcome. The food was amazing. I had the beef boirgione and my husband, weisswurst. The flavors were fabulous. The 3 vanilla creme brulee typed of the meal. The restaurant has a relaxed feel while providing high-end food. I love Novaks, because their recipes are authentic. It is still family owned and run, and they are about the friendliest eatery in Albany. I love Novak’s!"
