"Food quality/freshness: Amazing. Chicken is always very fresh/high quality. I 'm also amazed at how quickly they can prepare orders to go. I always use beyond menu and my order is always ready in 15 min or less. Accuracy: 3/5 I would give this place 5 stars but they have forgotten I ordered (and pay 'd for) pork fried rice instead of white on a few occasions. That said, if you call they will fix it the NEXT time so... kinda good? Price: Definitely not 'cheap '. A order of sesame chicken w/fried rice will set you back $26ish. BUT... you get what you pay for and we find it absolutely worth it. Could some items be a bit cheaper? Yes... but considering supply chain issues and the fact they are...

I usually have no problems with my orders. However, I ordered my usual basil chicken fried rice, I ended up with beef and chicken fried rice. I called so they could correct it. I go back to get my correct order, so I thought and it was a regular chicken fried rice. I asked twice was it 'basil ' and the women said yes. I 'm so annoyed I gave up. I think I 'm going to give Mandarin Palace a break for a while

I’ve been dining here for lunch for more than 6 years and the food has been consistently good. Service is pretty quick whether your dining in or out. They have recently updated the decor but it still has that dark ambience to it. Not bad but it could be a bit more bright brighter because it doesn’t get a lot of light from outside. One of my favorite dishes is their General Tso chicken broccoli and rice. The lunch prices are not bad but dinner prices are a bit pricey it typical for center city.

"We were there celebrating two birthdays. Our server Faith was wonderful. She was attentive without being intrusive and knowledgeable about the menu. We were a table of 6 and ordered quite a bit of food, some of which was great and others lackluster. The bao buns were great and the small calamari salad was huge and those who had it said delicious. The spareribs were good as well as the edamame dumplings, although the way those were served made it hard to fully enjoy. Each dumpling should be on a individual type spoon so you can enjoy the soup part as well as the dumpling. The way they were served in one large bowl with only one spoon made it so the soup part is left at the bottom. I did request extra spoons from the expediter but they never came. The worst part of our appetizer course was somehow an item was switched to another in the computer and served to us. It had shellfish in it and that wasn’t known when someone at our table who doesn’t eat shellfish ate it. The sashimi was good but the tuna tartare thing was really bad. The entrees we had were the duck, which I was told was delicious, the miso cod, which was fishy, the whole fish which was tasteless, the lobster fried rice, which was okay but lacking flavor. The best dish was the black pepper beef, it was delicious and elegantly served. We had all the sides and all were quite good especially the eggplant and the wasabi mashed potatoes. It was a nice evening but it felt a little stale for a Starr restaurant."
