"This place is too Gorgeous and site to behold... It will take you with all that beauty, aesthetics and intricate work with the feel of ancient times which we only saw in movies or sleep dreaming them. You can visit this place once but it will make sure to make place in your heart and mind that you witnessed something so amazing and age old when travelling means horses and dining means Ale and gient bull on table and all that noisy fellas with their beard sipping of alcohol. This place just gave me feel of Crossroad inn in Games Of Thrones so one can imagine how mesmerizing this place is. Food is amazing, drinks are lovely and staff is super suportive and well mannered. I must say if you are visiting Germany ever then don't forget to visit this place."

"We had a dinner there one time during our 3 day stay in Bretten and I wasn't impressed at all. We were sat at a table with another couple, which was absolutely fine until they started mixing the orders around... I have ordered the grilled vegetable...salad with buffalo mozzarella and my friend the scampi pasta. The shrimps were recently defrosted and the salad was nothing to write home about, besides the price. As far as I can remember there were 3 desserts on the menu semifredo, pana cotta and tiramisu, first one was available with ice cream, so no semifredo at all, and the last 2 were coming from the fridge (we had the last 2). Maybe we should have ordered pizzas? The restaurant is boasting a large collection of wines, but then I have a hint: if the staff doesn't speak English good enough, don't try to explain to foreigners in elaborate German which wine to choose, just let them study the wine menu for a while and don't rush with the drinks order... Well, the interior was really nice and it was busy, so I am prepared to give it another try if I happen to be in Bretten again. After all it wasn't that bad, it just was too pricey for what we had."

"Es un hostal que tiene restaurante y una carniceria propia.Estoy hospedado en el propio hostal, y tras ver todos los días lleno el restaurante he decidido probarlo hoy. Pese a ser lunes a la hora de cenar, el restaurante estaba lleno.Me he dejado aconsejar por la camarera, que me trajera algo de carne que me recomendara. Me ha traido un lomo de ternera, un bol de patatas fritas.Estaba expectacular, muy tierno y sabroso.Ambas cosas, junto con una botella de agua sin gas grande y un postre casero tipa after eight han sido 22€.Por lo tanto no es un sitio para poder venir todos los días, pero la relación calidad/precio me ha parecido perfecta.Yo repetiré seguro."

"Great ambience. If it is cold, you have the choice between the cozy vaulted cellar, the place and the super renovated workshop. In summer the super beautiful little garden attracts. You should keep it. This is usually recommended at the main times. The predominantly Italian cuisine is also looking for her. Super delicious pizzas from the stone oven, pasta dishes and salads that are not only delicious, but also a true eye-catcher. There are also delicious Alsatian flame cakes and changing daily specialties. And all this at an acceptable price! Last but not least, Winzer will be here at your expense. Go, try to be thrilled."

"I got the best food I could imagine. I recommend it to everyone, especially now that they have changed the pizza baker. Pizza is much better. The staff is at the next level of kindness. I didn't have to wait for the waiter like in other restaurants. I even met the cook and can certainly say that you get the best food here."
