"My husband has eaten here, my first time, he is from Philadelphia and I am from Pittsburgh, but live in Fairbanks, Alaska, this place is good depending on who is there I suppose. The cheesesteaks were delicious Now for the second visit: antipasto salad not great.. so much ice berg , one slice of tomato and cucumber and no peppercini or artichokes, and the sandwich my husband ordered Italian sub had mayo not on an Italian sub, nor did he ask for it or was it noted. Also, the prices are increased, so the menu price is not what you are charged, it’s stated at the shop, but what are the prices?? Seems like at least a dollar upcharge, so be aware."

"Had an excellent meal at the Fireside Tavern in Lancaster, Pa.! Easy to make reservations, very accomodating. Generous portions from a very extensive menu. Even Gluten Free crab cakes, my favorite! I would definitely recommend this family friendly restaurant. Oh yes, and they have a large menu of draft and bottled beers! Something for everyone!"

"Earlier this week, I decided to take my toddlers to Lancaster for a quick trip to Carters to buy new pants for my son and treat the kids to lunch at Chick-fil-a. Just five minutes into our drive, it was clear that the kids needed food before we tackled shopping for clothes together. So, we headed straight to our favorite lunch spot. After unloading the kids and standing in line to order our food, I realized that I had left my wallet at home in my work bag. Embarrassed, I explained to the kids that we wouldn't be able to eat at Chick-fil-a that day because Mom forgot her wallet. I was bracing myself for a tantrum from the toddlers when the manager of Chick-fil-a approached and told me that they would provide our meal for free since I had left my money at home. I was surprised and touched by their kindness. Our entire meal was comped, and I couldn't be more grateful. We now frequent this Chick-fil-a more often than I'd like to admit, not just for their great customer service and fast, friendly atmosphere, but also for their understanding of mommy moments like mine. This small act of generosity turned my mistake into a lovely meal with my happy children. The pants shopping would have to wait for another day, but this experience has turned me into a loyal Chick-fil-a customer for life and reminded me of the impact of a generous spirit."

"From the moment we walked in the door we were well taken care of with quick seating and excellence, attentive service. Our server was at our table in less than 2 minutes and had our drink orders taken and placed our Yelp free Pretzel order. It arrived paired with the most incredible cheese sauce, and the Philly style braided roll was hot, firm on the outside and soft and delicious in the middle. The portion size was spot on and could have been stretched to 3 people if needed. Topped with fresh diced scallions it was certainly the best way to start our meal. The sandwiches arrived in good order and were equally well presented and loaded with flavor. The Filet Mignon Tip Grinder with Gruyère, sautéed onions, horseradish aioli on a fresh hot toasted roll with house-cut fries was absolutely amazing. Toasted up just right and accompanied by some seriously delicious fresh cut fries. The Smokehouse Brisket Sandwich was piled high with deliciously smoked brisket, shaved and served up with cheddar jack cheese, bbq sauce on a fresh onion roll with hours cut fries. In addition we asked for a side of ranch dressing for the dries, which is highly recommended as it certainly tasted homemade and finished off the fries like icing on a cake. I did try the Lemon Blueberry Shanty and enjoyed the sample, but with being full from the pretzel and then having entrees with at least 2 1/2 of drive time still ahead of us I decided to forgo the beer as well as loading up with any to take home. We made a stop at the restrooms which were quite large, clean and well lit as was the dining area. You can see they are limited in space as beer is stacked up in all extra spaces with labels on the wall to help when unsure of what's what. For the overall size of the operation they crank out an incredible menu. Highly recommend this when in the area, and make sure to mention the free Yelp Pretzel, it's a great way to start your dining experience."
