"We made a reservation for the special Valentine's Day dinner in advance for 7:00 PM, but by the time we were finally served our food it was around 8:15 PM. Not only this but while my husband's entree was hot, mine was only lukewarm. I did let our waitress know and she offered to take my plate back to the kitchen and warm it up but seeing as I had already waited for over an hour for my food, I opted to keep it. In addition, when we tried to order dessert from the special Valentine's Day menu, we were told that those desserts weren't actually available so I'm not sure why no one updated the dessert menus to reflect this. It was Valentine’s Day and I guess I was expecting a little extra. Maybe table clothes: a warmer environment (we were set by the window and had to wear our coats the entire meal); waiting’s over thirty minutes for our food; they were out of salmon and baked potatoes.

We have been to Mt Pleasant Grille in the past with good experience. This restaurant has gone downhill in the last year. Our first choice on starter was not available. My first choice on draft beer was not available. Our first choice on entree was not available. We finally settled on both having the sirloin. We had to send it back. It came out well done on a med rare order. The server was walking by on a regular basis and never checking on us. We finally began just stopping any server or manager that walked by. We will not be going back......
