My Place is my go-to spot for authentic Chinese cuisine here in the South Loop. The staff are all so welcoming and attentive. The pricing also cannot be best. The combo box comes with entree, chicken fried rice, and an egg roll and there are like a couple dozen different entree options you can choose from. For $12 you get so much food!! When I don’t order the combo box set, I usually order the salt and pepper shrimp or the lemongrass chicken wings. Everything i’ve had here is so tasty!

This is my second and last time ordering from this place. The first time I ordered shrimp egg foo yong. It was four patties each had about 3 large shrimp in side in order words it had wwwwway more egg and foo than shrimp. All three patties were burnt on the bottom but I didn’t know that until I started eating one, because they were placed in the container with the burnt side down.
