"My wife and I are long time Derby Customers. 30+ years). The past 2 times we have been in we have had problems. The second to last time we had the Tomahawk Steak for a celebratory dinner. The meat was barely warm and the sides were room temperature. Anyone can have a bad doy so we wrote it off to having a bad day. All the other times we had been in during the past 30 years, it has been great. Last hight we came in for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. My wife ordered the Derby Delite with Garlic Mashed Potatoes. Both were room temperature. Very disappionting. They did take it off the bill, but that's not the idea of a celebration. Two times in a row and we're having doubts about going back which is a shame as we really loved the place. Right now I'm not sure I would reccomend it to a friend."

"Ordered online. Food promised at a certain time. I got there on time and waited another 30 minutes for my order. Staff were all over the place and made no effort to get my order fixed. I think it was missed or something. Finally some lady, manager I’m guessing, came in like a tornado. Eventually got my order and one guy did apologize but I was late back to work at that point. Contacted their customer service to avoid this happening again and offer some constructive feedback but they didn’t even reach back out.Food is decent but can’t afford to order from here to get picked up on a lunch break ever again. Disappointed since this seemed like a healthier option to most restaurants. I’ll keep looking I guess….."

"Read my yelp review : it has one star on my second visit and 3 stars on my very first. Be careful, they will add 18% gratuity on your bill without your knowledge will not give you, your original receipt and message you privately and say they will send you your original receipt through email if you let them; though remember if you are not the person whom paid and they send that information to you it is again privacy laws- which both you and the manager whom private messaged you will both get in trouble with the law. I hope this helps everyone please do not be deceived because of their act of fake kindness. My first and second was a party of two including myself. Which does not require 18%."

"I came here a few months ago with a group of friends for brunch, so I am a little behind the written this review. We decided to order a bit of everything so that each one of us can try a little. It was easier for us to go to the register and order individually because there were so many of us, but they have waiter service. Here's what we ordered: ham and cheese croissant – that was just ok because they reheated it before serving. pastel de carne – grundbeef puff pastries – just good again. It actually cost dry. Not sure if this is how it should taste, but it just didn't let me want to. papa rellena – Potato ball with beef. Again, warmed again, but it was really good. Potato ball with cheese – these were also reheated, but these were the best! I guess because I like this combination personally. How to mix potatoes and cheese properly? Croqueta Jamon, Chicken and chorizo empanadas – from all these, I liked the chorizo. But I had better empanadas. You have free beverage refills: but yes, I had better food smart. They were great with our group, so I can't knock them for their service. One side is that there is a large free parking on the street next to Peach Cafe."
