"We started off with a cup of clam chowder which was just ok. We shared the rigatoni bolognese and we are glad we shared because it was a big portion and it was delicious. The pasta came with two SMALL pieces of toasted bread which really wasn’t enough for such a big portion of pasta and our waitress never offered us more which we thought was a little chintzy."

"Excellent Lunch during Restaurant Week 2013. It is restaurant week in Newport (11/1 11/10, 2013), so we have been trying to get to places not previously visited. The Mooring has been on our list for too long, so we booked a table (via OpenTable) for lunch. "beautiful walking area with standard beach shops with land price merchandise. the black bead has a large space. parking is free of charge up to three hours from 1st november until winter. I recommend walking the shops and then lunch / dinner in other restaurants in the surroundings."
