"we chose pappardella because of the much appreciated separate gluten-free menu it offers as well as the location. the food was good, not great. there are many places in manhattan that serve a better tasting of Italian food. the service unfortunately lived up to the many reviews I had read. it was missing. even if we were not in a hurry, the slow service and the lack of attention was felt by all in our party. the manager was beautiful, but perhaps not effective administration of the staff and flow. whatever the reason for the bad service is, it is clearly a problem that needs to be fixed."

we ate there for Thanksgiving Day. they were extremely accommodating as our party size has been increased last minute. we put outside in the heated terrace. it was perfect! the meal was excellent and the service was great! highly recommended!
